Judo is the real deal. When I was 7 I was being bullied. I took two courses and threw the bully over my shoulder flat on his back breathless. The art of surprise IS Judo. Using your own opponents wait to send him to the group hard.

Single and double leg takedowns should be added. Scoring needs to take back at least the yuko and no more penalties. After 5 minutes if its 0-0 the judges should award the fight to the most dangerous/active fighter.

It interests me that around the world there are different style that start off with similar sets of parameters and you see the same techniques develop.
In the UK (where I'm from) there are a whole range of traditional wrestling styles that are fairly esoteric in their rule sets but are nevertheless similar to styles from Asia and Europe.

A lot of these throws came from the opponent overstepping / losing their position or balance, allowing the attacker to achieve the position where the throw was possible. That said, I think Judo has always had a bit more of the 'brute-strength' element than e.g. Aikido or Jujitsu (the other two 'redirect your opponents strength' style arts I'm semi-familiar with). Mind you, I admit my knowledge / experience with Judo is only ~25-30 years, and the early years are a bit hazy due to youth... so it may have been different way back when :D)

@@kongbanana8947 I’ve had too many other secondary issues as a result of my injury at this point. Short of a literal miracle, that’s just not in the cards for me. I appreciate the positivity though🙂

Все броски известны. Тут и мельница и подхват ипередняя- задняя подножки и даже из " классики"- бросок прогибом. Классно исполнены. И есть очень интересные- они говорят о прекрасном мышечном чутье борцов.
