- I said that I'd be using something more appropriate for furniture shopping and moving home and here it is, the brand new Bentley Bentayga Black Specification! I pick up the car that I'll be using for the coming week and driving over to Germany to help move into a proper flat, purchase some furniture, transport all sorts of things, and travel around in style and luxury.
The new Black Specification is an option pack for the Bentley Bentayga that removes the chrome elements in areas like the window surrounds, headlight surrounds and trim areas around the car, it adds the carbon package for the rear spoiler and diffuser, front splitter and side skirts, and on this particular car it contrasts very well with the Candy Red paintwork. However, the total list price of this very car comes in at £229,120, a fair hike over the base list price of £162,700.
To get us started, let's explore the car itself on a gloomy day in London before then setting off for a few errands like moving some tyres around, and filling it with some luggage. Then it's road trip time and off we go for a journey from London to Frankfurt!

Shmee150 if you like the SUV for in London, maybe a SUV to replace the FF? whatever you get I'll still prefer the FF, love that car!!
Not sure, I still prefer the Lusso as the replacement of the FF.

The Bentayga with these sporty black elements is the best I have ever seen 😍💪 The diffusor and the carbon applications look fit perfectly to the Bentley 👍 I would like to make a roadtrip with this car 😢

Shmee150 absolutely. I think it should at least be a strong contender. I’d imagine the FF is getting a little long in the tooth now.
That was super impressive how the Bentley actually change the time and even the headlights automaticly. I've never seen that, on any car. And i just can't over the quality of the car. It is so quiet inside.
Good to buy second hand in a year or two.

Pgleizes it’s important to have carbon fiber skirts (black pack) on your 3 ton car its completely sensible
first name last name yes, saving weight is important, I mean adding 15kg of useless carbon fiber makes really sense, especially when it cost the price of a brand new golf
Carbon fiber when used for the sake of it, is just naff. Basically its for rich chavs to one up their rich chavs mates.

I aways prefer the boat to the tunnel. It may be longer, but it's nice to have a break, and a walk about etc. However I'm 6hours from Dover, and not just two. For me the boat make a good halfway break.

i think that bentayga doesn't have as much presents on the road i've seen some in person and it took me a while to recognize it, of course the luxurious interior and the ride itself make it a very good car but this red is fantastic

This suv is beautiful on the interior the outside is ok. The new Lamborghini suv with a twin turbo V8 and 750hp with luggage space should be an interesting addition to this segment here in the US suvs rule

99 miles its brand new. A lot of suvs are much more car like. The rear hatch opens by foot because sometimes, your carrying 2 bags of grocery's. Are those RACING TRANSPORTERS YOUR PASSING. To me that's very cool. Price 330.000 dollars to me.

Hmmm no power fold centre seats, with switches in the boot.... The latest Range Rover, Discovery 5 and even Ford Explorer have this feature and it's quite practical when you're at the back of the car with a load of gear to load. What an oversight by Volkswagen! (I guess the Touareg wiring loom doesn't have this as yet).

I know they platform share with other parts of the VW group to keep the development costs down but they really should have made it look more different from the Audi Q7.
This price is crazy, charging 19-000 pounds for coloring from silver to black is just steal.

What are your thoughts on "Keyless cars"?
Recently especially in the UK there's a been a massive surge in car theft and it's all down to the keyless cars.
Thief's are now using software on a tablet, phone, or laptop to replicate and pretend to be the key. It results in them not having to break anything and the thief's are off with 30 seconds to a minute.
It's obvious there's a massive security issue. Yet more and more expensive or modern cars have keyless starts.
The only war around it would be to get a Ghost Immobiliser installed but I personally believe you shouldn't have to do that because the manufacturer is too lazy to give people optional systems.
Such as a traditional key, which, at this point is safer than keyless.
Would be cool to get your thoughts and opinions on it, especially from someone that owns like 4 keyless cars.

Little strings to hold up the parcel tray? BMW and Mercedes have much more sophisticated systems. And the same applies to rear seat fold down controls.
