I am really looking forward to this and must thank Hellena Taylor for talking people into cancelling pre-orders because otherwise I would not have been able to get this at retail. Spare a thought to Switch collectors. I know of at least 3 different varieties of the TME around, not including language differences, and this is not a cheap edition. I would have preferred the Steelbook version myself though I do spend more time with artbooks then cases......
bro why tf does the american version have a hard cover + 3 cases and EU gets a floppy paper cover and one extra case.. they gotta stop with this kinda region bs man
One they’re crazy sustainable on eco waste, and plus tbh that boxing Sleeve they have that holds it the 3 covers is dope. Wish they had that in the US box instead. You can always buy a replacement case for a few cents.
Different branch, NOA manages the American release, NOE manages the European release. Also, there may be ecological regulations to blame, EU in general is less lenient with paper and plastic.
Just got my copy in today. Couple of things I didn't like about this set: the dark glossy surface on the box makes it hard to see the details...everything looks burred as a result even in the best of lighting. And the 2nd thing was that I saw other regions got a steel book case in their Trinity Masquerade Edition, and now I'm jelly.
@@davidraquepas2344 I see. Looks like UK got the best deal out of all the regions then. Although for the outer box on the UK version, I didn't like the huge rating logos in the bottom left corner. Really takes away from the art.
It sucks that the mexican edition has the new mexican rating system (esrb was already translated in spanish) and it doesnt fit with my old bayo 2 copy lol
If you pre ordered the trinity edition on the Nintendo site it comes with a steelbook case. Wish I knew would’ve pre ordered that one instead of thru GameStop
I was wondering if the art book was hard cover or not. But I was confused thinking it was three steel cases when it was just clear cases. The UK one has a steel book, but just one clear case, and the art book is paperback. I'm still waiting for my masquerade trinity edition to ship from Amazon.
I'm a little sour we didn't get the steel book case like other markets....but at least the artbook we got is hard cover. Thanks for making and sharing the video, dude 🙂
I was pissed when after I received my 90$ pre-order to only have TWO EMPTY GAME CASES. Why did they call this a “trilogy” when there’s no TRILOGY⁉️Then other game sources never bring it up. Never again.
At first you see the size of the box and you think there's a lot in there. There isn't. Just an oversized art book and two extra empty cases. The case bonuses are really just a ploy to get you to buy the first two games. Which should've been included in this edition. Like game developers use to do back in the day.
@@DPIris_ that's not the point. They're basically trying to get you to buy the first two games on Switch. That's pretty shady. They probably intended to include all 3 titles in the edition for a higher price. Got my copy yesterday, I was pretty underwhelmed but it's still cool to have, I rarely get to get these collectors editions. But I definitely would've paid more for a better collectors edition, maybe throw in an amiibo with her in her new outfit, a pair of glasses or something I dunno, and a steelbook either for each game or one steelbook with 3 slots as well as everything they included.
They should've included the first two games instead of empty boxes. Kind of half assed to just give you two empty cases. Like here go buy the first two games.

I still see this as a mistake because I want the steelbook but I need to use a proxy. All I could get was the English trinity. This is the rare great unboxing. Well done.
How is this a great unboxing? Didn’t open rest of the cases. The dumbest unboxing imo. Do not make videos ever again.
I’ll take a hard book cover over a steal case any day NA is the best version
