I feel for her but I get why it would be awkward for a normal guy to date her. First of all most men aren’t attracted to children. If they are attracted to her that is a big red flag. Then if they get to know her and see past the looking like a child issue, imagine the looks and comments they would have to insure by not only strangers but their friends and family too. Poor woman. It's a difficult situation she's in. Most normal guys would just not be able to get past her looking 8. And then when someone IS interested, they are immediately seen as creepy and/or perverted. She's gonna have a hard time finding her someone. She's gonna see ALOT of "red flags" trying to date more then most people.

I stopped growing at 3'10" but was able to do HGH. I'm 4'8" now and 28. I still look young and ended up marrying my friend from high school. 6 years strong. If I can find someone, Shauna definitely can. You go girl!

I am 24 years old and 83lbs (and look 12-15 years old in person) I can tell you right now that anyone that sees me in person and is attracted to how I look should not be allowed within 500 feet of a school zone. This is such a tricky situation because if a man was with her in public people would perceive him as being a predator. Also she needs to be EXTRA careful about the type of men she attracts because she does in fact look very young...I feel so bad for her in this aspect. I don't think she has the emotional intelligence to be dating right now. It seems she has been sheltered her whole life which is understandably so. I do understand that she has desires and deserves to be with someone and be happy but even people her age don't need to lock in love quite yet. More focus on building a life for herself seems like a more important decision for her to make.

As someone grew up sheltered, I really feel for her. I was desperate to prove I was not as innocent as I looked/seemed, and impatient for romance. There were positive and negative experiences I feel I had to have in order to become less naïve. The most significant ones couldn’t happen until I went to college (lived in dorms and then apartments) and had the chance to gain independence. Not sure of her career goals, but college in a walkable town/neighborhood with public transport could be a great environment for her- no driving needed, and you can easily meet people your age in class.
I think that's an excellent suggestion. College would give her a chance to socialize with people her age and get to know them before entering a relationship. And roommates and friends can introduce her to people they know are safe, instead of trying to meet strangers on your own whose background you don't know.
Plus, she seems to want someone who's educated, so a college area would be a great start.

I really think that her parents should have continued with the medication so she wouldn't have stunted growth. I understand how hard it is to see your child go through rough medical issues (my youngest has had many procedures and surgeries) but she could never have understood the implications of not getting those needles, but her parents absolutely should have.
Unfortunately sometimes those medications make cancers grow too.
In the other video, the explanation was that she stopped growing at 16, because she didn't have more "growth cartilage" in her body, so continuing the growth hormones wouldn't have done anything.

Her growth plates had fused, so the medication wouldn't have done anything else. The only other thing they could have done was breaking her legs, which is incredibly painful for only a few inches of growth.
Her Doctors said the meds can't do anything anymore.
Her bones are finished growing.
I definitely feel for her. She seems sweet at heart . I'd take her out and not be embarrassed or shy. I dated a woman that was older then me and less then 5'.

Do not despair, there is someone out there for everyone. You will find the right person when least expected. You shouldn’t feel you have to prove anything to anyone. Don’t focus on your size as always being an issue as it will grow in your mind. You are much more than a woman who has a growth issue. You are a beautiful woman who seems to be smart, kind and vibrant and anyone would be lucky to have you in their life.

I hate that all these people keep saying they feel bad for her or they feel sorry for her or they pity her I don’t pity her I think she’s a strong woman and I think she’s a very brave person for being able to deal with these situations in a calm manner without freaking out on people all the time that takes a lot of patience to still be a nice person when people treat you that way and I respect her for that
Don't ever lower your standards your an amazing young woman and you deserve to be respected for who you are. A lot of women settle for less than they deserve don't ever settle for less.

Instead, look for groups in which people of all ages get together for common interests. Meetup is most well-known. Karaoke, books, religion, politics, food, wine, art, science, entertainment genres, etc. That way, there is no expectation of intimacy. Instead, you're enjoying common interests. If anything develops one-on-one, it's more natural -- because there is already something to share.
I have congenital hypopituitarism. I stopped growing at 5 and started growth hormone shots at 8. I was 4 years behind my peers by the time I started heading upwards. I’m now 5’8 and so grateful, but I could have easily been the size of a young child. I grew so fast that I have knee and a few other problems that I’ll forever deal with.

I feel bad for Shauna. It appears as though people still treat her differently from other adults. She seems to be having some inner personal struggles when it comes to finding someone to enjoy her time with.
