From a guys standpoint, I can understand the hesitancy about approaching her for a relationship. She's pretty, great personality but no guy want to be looked at as a creepy guy. It's unfair on both sides and unfortunate

My niece died 2 months before her 15th birthday. She was the size of a doll. My Mom (Grandma) would take her for walks in the park. People would ask her how old is the baby. My Mom would say 14 years old. Everyone assumed my Mom (Grandma) didn’t understand months old and years old. My niece was non-verbal yet knew 200 signs in sign languages. Rest In Peace Meggie.💕

i love joel so much he is so nice and sweet to her even when you could tell other people in the shop were giving her weird looks and he tried so hard to make it perfect given the fact it must of been quite dificult

Okay, I'm not sure if she'll ever read this, but about her parents being afraid of letting her use public transportation, has she ever considered learning how to use a pepper spray/mace? It doesn't require much of a training and she has the right personality to use it if she ever has to.

It’s so weird. She looks like a little child. I never knew people were affected by such conditions. It’s kind of sad because she’ll never experience true adulthood or adolescence. She’ll probably go straight from childhood to being elderly.

Pretty cool! What I don't think is cool though is when some adults speak to her in an authoritative tone like she's a child even though they don't know. Why can't adults speak to kids with the same respect they speak with everyone else, then someone like Shauna wouldn't have to deal with that in the first place
Because adults and kids are not the same and must be treated differently.
Just be your self if someone is worth being with they will be able to accept you for who you are.

I like that her tats all have meanings. Same with my piercings. I’d love hanging out with Shauna. She’s adventurous and brave. It seems a small car could be adapted for her size. People without legs can drive. Shauna doesn’t need hand controls. Why not heightened pedals and seat?
Awe she is such an amazing person. She keeps saying she needs to pretend she has confidence (fake till you make it), but I feel like she has all the confidence in the world. She's adorable, lol. She definitely had a big personality. I also love how she voices how she feels, I can't even do that and I'm 39yr old. She is a very strong and smart young women. I would love to be her friend bcuz she could definitely teach me how to have confidence lol.
I think her face looks older than a child and will continue to age. There are many short people. I had a boyfriend who was too tall. Like a giraffe. I am average height. Made my neck hurt, looking up at him. My Grandma was about 4'8", and my Grandpa was 6'2". She stood, and he sat. She bossed him, and he was amused.
I'm 4'10 I'm not traumatized by it technically I'm a dwarf I joke about it ALL THE TIME
what she said about customers sticking their nose in is like with my assistance dog, I've had security come up to me and say they've had complaints from people wanting me kicked out but they're not kicking me out cuz they know it's an assistance dog (thankfully)

My gran would ask the same questions every time I tried to leave the house too… and if I told her 3am as a time I was coming home she’d put up a fit, even when I was 23 🙄

I'm 4'10" so I do know some of what she's going through, and what she will go through. I was told I couldn't do a lot of things, but that was only because they hadn't seen me do it already. I've accomplished everything I ever set my mind to. With the exception of being a crane operator. I wasn't even allowed to try. They just said I wouldn't be able to see under the cab. Their loss, lol! I've driven racecars, school buses, semi's, motorcycles, etc. So she is capable of getting her license too. I've had kids, but through c-section. I've had my own horses too. There was nothing I couldn't achieve if I wanted to. I was also asked for ID right up to and into my 30's. You strive for what you want Shauna, and you can do anything!

4:00 she acts like 10 yrs old. Plus her older sister says she it seems like they have a greater age difference, mentally, physically, emotionally. Through this series I saw it as well.
She does not look 22...she looks like she's around her 18 years of life😂. She looks so young. I wish I could look that young again.

I agree. They do have clothing stores for little people but having her own would be so awesome for her especially being that she already has her name out there now thanks to TLC putting out this story of her. She definitely has alot of fans now.
Its always been interesting how different people like parent. Like ive literally travked by myself from florida to connecticut when i was 14. I flew dpwn by myself and then took a greyhound back up by myself. Got home perfectly safe.

I cant remeber if she was with me all the way to the terminal or not bur i do remeber all of my important stuff being put into this like plastic case that goes around your neck so you have your boarding pass and what not. The greyhoud was kinda sketchy tho ngl but i simply kept to myself.

The ID thing isn't as big a deal these days I think. Some bars and concert venues ID absolutely everyone. I'm 57 yo and look it. I go to shows a lot. I also do not drink much at all. Most likely I'm going to ask for a bottle of water. It happens so often I have my ID ready automatically once I reach the door.
Being on a reality show may be the only way to educate strangers on her condition. Its ony human to want to protect children, and also to have to explain yourself to others as often as she probably has to would be exhausting.
