Peter is a brave and rash Gryffindor, a natural fighter and leader. As the oldest, he is used to being in charge, although he doesn’t always plan before charging into action. He sometimes gets blinded by his own pride and will challenge anyone who insults it. As his gift from Santa, he is even given a sword, like the sword of Gryffindor.
Lucy is clearly like Helga Hufflepuff. She is one of the most kind-hearted characters in the series, which she shows through her loving acceptance of everyone they meet, from Mr. Tumnus to the beavers. Lucy forgives easily and is loyal to the people she loves. Her faith in Aslan and in Narnia is unwavering. Lucy is incredibly brave and is given the title “the Valiant,” but she has a specific strain of Hufflepuff bravery.
Susan is practical and intellectual, like Rowena Ravenclaw. She is the most cautious of the four, always wanting to get all of the information and create a plan before acting. Unlike Lucy, Susan needs proof before believing anything and is always the most skeptical of anything they encounter. In later books, Susan stops believing in Narnia because it does not fit with the logical principles of what she has experienced in the real world.
Edmund, like Slytherin House, is a complicated character with more than meets the eye. Similar to the four Hogwarts founders, he experiences a rift with his three siblings, particularly Peter (Gryffindor). His Slytherin ambition for power and recognition allows the White Witch to easily manipulate him into betraying his siblings. Once reunited with his family, however, Edmund remains loyal to them throughout the rest of the series and never hesitates to make brave sacrifices on their behalf. Edmund tends to work independently, and sometimes even secretly, in order to achieve his goals.

@@t.f.lesage8634 I read every one of the books. Peter was an egotistical rash king. Edmund had to act as a restraint. Peter and Edmund frequently fought over decisions because Peter was heavy handed.
Susan and Lucy typically had to interfere and vote on it. Edmund usually was the just brother.

I loved narnia and it would be amazing if they founded hogwarts. Maybe during their rule they built some magic schools like Hogwarts and stuff. I just wish in the other narnia films they had kept the original 4 characters. It's really not the same without Peter, Edmund, Susan and Lucy.
WARNING SPOILIERS AHEAD READ AT YOUR OWN RISK: But they died 😭 Susan is still alive but she doesn’t remember Narnia and says it was just a game, so there’s no way that they could have kept them as the characters. 😭😭 CS Lewis himself said that he was Hesitant to write what was supposed to be the final book instalment “Susan of Narnia” because it was too grown up and sad. Unfortunately when he was just starting to write it, he passed 🤧😔

1. Narnia was written before hp and jk admitted that she grew up reading Narnia. So these two could be connected

I'm conflicted because I think they would have made a great casting for these characters and I think this edit is top notch. However, I always think this is a great example of placing a character in a house based on face value versus what's truly in their heart. In The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe yes maybe you could see this, but as the whole series you know that these aren't their true houses. Lucy is Gryffindor she's compared to a lioness so many times- she's the one who starts their adventure. Peter is a Hufflepuff he is loyal to the end and is willing to help others because it's the right thing to do. Edmund, yes he messed up- big time, but he learns from his mistakes and is in fact a Ravenclaw. He's the strategist. Susan is a skeptic from the start, and sadly *spoiler alert* she turns her back on Narnia refusing to believe and never returns. I'm not saying that makes her a Slytherin, she might just be a Muggle 🤷♀️

Well, J.K.Rowling has said that she actually based the founders of the four houses off of the children from Narnia! The professors house in Narnia was the inspiration for Hogwarts, and the woman who stays in the professors house inspired Professor McGonagall. 😄

The big name fantasy books are connected through a magical thing call the subconscious. In the subconscious mind people pulled things together from what they know. Rowling knew Narnia, so she subconsciously wrote it in.
