Tracy, you should keep this one for yourself!! It fits you really good!! That person with epilepsy, that is dangerous for them!! They could have a seizure at any moment and crash!! I talked to him about it and he goes slow. It gives him so much Joy and freedom and he’s an adult and can make his own decisions and it made him SO happy. It’s been the first time he’s been out of his trailer and getting around.

The spec that stands out to me is the 1000W motor. Many states either prohibit ebikes over 750W, or put them in a category needing some form of registration, license plate, insurance, moped/motorcycle license, maybe inspections, or whatever. It varies by state.
Likewise, the industry definition of Class 1, 2, or 3 ebikes limits them to 750W. Above 750W is Class 4, which the industry considers a motorized vehicle rather than a bicycle. Most states agree.
Long story short, above 750W, things get to be a hassle if you want to operate legally, unless you're only riding it in a state with unusually loose ebike laws. And remember, those can change, as laws catch up with what's going on.
A cop might not know the difference between a 750W motor and a 1000W motor, but if they see you above 20mph and not pedaling, that's another way they can tell it's above Class 3.
