Fluctuating / jumping temperature on Vaillant boiler / How to replace Printed Circuit Board / Motherboard step by step

Before to start any work on gas appliance isolate the power, turn off the gas and the waters.
1. Download manual
professional.v...
2. Remove front cover
3. Remove PCB cover
4. Disconnect cables
5. Replace PCB
6. Reconnect cables
7. Test it

Also make sure the potentiometer on the new ocb are lined up with the pins on the control knobs.

You can diagnosis easy, if you turn on the heating wait approximately 5-10 min and check the boiler display. The heating will come in and it’s gonna show a temperature and it will jump on higher temperature and then back to lower temperature. This will indicate you have a PCB fault.
