Having been a vaillant engineer for 10 year i suggest you change all the seals when you do these jobs as advised by Vaillant, also why not undo annaconda at the gas valve this saves fibre washer replacement.
That Torx screws on the gas valve what size is it as I’m looking to purchase Torx screw driver for it also what other sizes do you recommend me collecting for other different boiler makes? Cheers for your time
You never mentioned anything about gas rating it or putting an analyser on? The kind of people who will watch videos like this are the kind of people who shouldn't be messing around inside boilers!
Why are you posting gas related jobs on you tube pal for the general public to view ? One of my customers followed your video ended up having a gas leak . Cadent came out capped meter . Shocking really . Need to take them down
Those videos are good to new gas engineers , the biggest problem is spares for appliances are accessible by general public if you can't buy parts that will stop ordinary people mess with boilers and I you know your customer creates a leak you should RRIDOR him
Good video mate, but don't forget to set the gas valve to manufactures instructions as it comes factory set 👍🏼

I have a new boiler Ecotec Plus, 3 months old and the gas valve has to be replaced. Errors f28 f29 f54 Is this some manufacturing defect?

Hey Mark, the Bahco SL25L set has never failed me. Has a good range of common torx’s plus a lot more in there!
