Just happened to mine too. Vaillant came out and repaired it for free. Must be a bad batch of ignition leads. For me the spark was externally discharging onto the fan cover. The engineer located it within seconds of turning up at the property.
Thanks for your video! Wish I could see it a bit earlier. I would have save the money for replacing the regulator and spark plug. The real reason of F28 and F29 error on my boiler was also a faulty ignation cable. Maaaany thanks!!!❤❤❤
I like your video but don't understand your decision (although you were successful 🙂) You say you measure zero ohm between both ends on the ignition cable, so doesn't that say the cable is fine? Then what did you make decide to replace it anyway? I mean, could you measure any difference between the old and the new cable? What's point of measuring the cable if you cannot conclude anything from it?
