Anthony, one big (no pun intended) advantage of the m4/3 system is that we have pro-quality lenses that are a fraction of the size and weight of their full-frame counterparts. Try using a 70-200 f2.8 on the t4i vs the Pana 35-100 f2.8 on the GH3 and you will see what I mean. The body is only a small part of the system

Good questions Anthony. I'll try to answer in the limited space given on YT. The GH3 is a pro camera and thus is going to be larger then a non pro camera. Think of the GH3 as the m43 version of a Nikon D4 and the G5 like our D700 camera. Both cameras share similar insides but the pro is larger to allow for more functionality.
I too have been mixing stills and motion for years as well but hybrid is a bit different. Think of the GH3 and hybrid as not just stills + video: its how we create..
Hi Jay, We think that working with the various file processing modes in the camera are great practice for shooting video. Not many folks here like to mess with video in post - too much like work! : )
why do you put the sharpness down?
The GH3 is two levels up from the OMD in the areas of customization, usability, video and connectivity. It's a true pro-level camera anyone can afford. See my BOSS videos series on the GH3 coming this week.
Hi Bud, I don't know if there's a good answer for that one. Will has recommended T3's for years to the high volume kids sports shooters and they are great small DSLRs. Mirrorless gives you more features in a smaller size, but they do not have those gorgeous Canon lenses. Maybe try both and see how they fit in you hands?

IS is superior when built into the lens. This gives the optical designers the ability to engineer optimal IS for each particular lens. Also built in IS is silent.
Hey G, I really enjoy your vidz, and you sharing your knowledge, and I'm not trying to disrespect you in anyway. My question is mirror less was supposed to be small, the gh3 is the size of the t4i. Why not just switch back to ill frame dslr, there not much bigger. Another question I have is this thing you call hybrid photography. I have been doing the same thing for years, I mean years. What is so special about what you guys are doing. I am really curious and hope you can explain.
Sorry, just saw this. I sold my OMD because I just don't use it anymore. It's a nice still camera for sure but for my needs which are high performance still and video hybrid the Lumix cameras are the way to go.

Your screen goes black because of the eye sensor. There's a setting the will disable it or make it less sensitive.
Great didn't even know half of that was there just been happy with all the standard effect pallet, but now i know gee, what's the best ratio to suit the sensor size, just to use every last pixel ?
Its not a good camera because the live screen doesn't change at all when u set the settings at ll. how can u set the live screen in an accurate one sir can u help me out

I'm trying to figure out the auto focus setting to change the subject. for example, if the camera is focusing me while recording and if I show my fingers in front of the lens it doesn't auto focus my fingers. Is there a setup for this please? Thanks

Like other have said, can we have a G6 setup please. I know the G5 is similar but some of the changes in the G6 mean that settings will vary.
MrFreshography Sorry buddy, the G6 is just not for me. I do not dislike it, but the GH series is the one we use most.
