my brother in law directed this play at his school, and the kids were amazing and it was loads of fun for the kids, so i'd say try out if it's not too late
well, if it's done right it can be incredible. Yes, it's about the Brother Grimms fairy tale characters going into the woods to get their wish, 1st act they get their wish and are happy. But, like the old saying "be careful what you wish for..you just might get it" they get aspects of their wishes they didn't excpect and the tale ends up not so happily ever after. It deals with themes of growing up, parents and children, accepting responsiblity, morality, such like that.
We recited the prologue in 6th grade and I was the baker's wife. I really wanted to be the Witch. We didn't sing and my husband was someone I didn't like.
One thing,my G.dept-friends easily cut classes other than major as natural thing, which i was surprised at first, but accustomed・・・bad habit・・・ They loved Karaoke and AmusementPark so much, which i learned from them・・・
Yeah, Bernadette Peters. She's in Sunday in the Park with George too, which is another great Sondheim show. She's been called 'the greatest interpreter of his work' so she's pretty swell.
>That was like "straw" you know. When i entered there, i was so disappointed at first there were no intelligence type, but i got to like there as they seemed to be enjoying their own private life and they seemed to be doing their job freely as they like, and i began to think that might be different from other company and good point there. Most important; there were no harsh people.
no its not dumb i just found out what it is haha its only the first act the first act ends at a point that makes you think the show is over so its usually done at middle schools and some high schools because the full version is so long
Though I've never seen the original london cast's witch, I noticed that this witch seems to not have quite as menacing of a voice as I might expect for a witch to have.
>Wolf(Doody) said, those who can really good in English go to higher Uni. I dont think so level of English(only) to enter there was same with Kyoto.U. Difference is rather with other subjects.

My purpose doing this was not singing or playng, but English and Joy of doing something together, anyway!
He said it quite lightly anyway・・
I felt "Job" is "not" at center of them.
At first, it was more "foreign".
It was becoming more usual company as they recruite more new graduates.
