I saw the version at Theatre Three in Dallas, and you'd be amazed how close to Cheno a non-Kristin can get. I saw it before I knew the person playing Sally was doing a role Kristin had originated, and I just loved it. The woman was stunning - power + cuteness!
This is so great! I can't stop watching it! Kristin did an amazing job. Anyone else notice that right before she starts to talk the microphone is lowered b/c it is too tall! :) I thought it was cute!
she deserved it! sooo much! she always deserves it! i loooove her! and the whole cute thing, she didn't USE to like it, but she has learnt that people could call her worse things, so being called cute isn't so bad after all. at least that's what she said. best speech ever too, and in only 46 seconds. pretty amazing!

Swoosie Kurtz is named after the plane her father flew in WWII. It was a B-17D that had been shot up and needed lots of spare parts. The parts came from B-17Cs in the srap pile at the base. There was a child's book at that time called Charlie the Swoose. His parents were a swan and a goose. The plane was named "Swoosie" and Capt. Kurtz had a name for his daughter. Look it up.

"Sally," Charlie told him and went to tell the others. Linus (or whoever) stood there and mused, "Sally. Sally Brown. Good ol' Sally Brown...It figures." Lol. She's not at all like her brother, though. She's brash and assertive and, well, she's funny like good ol' Charlie Brown, at least. Love this video.
Dunno, about 'hostel', but he is Roger Bart...went on to co star in THE PRODUCERS, OBC (he eventually took over in the role of LEO BLOOM and is about to star in Mel Brooks new Broadway show 'YOUNG FRANKENTSTEIN' opening fall 2007.
No, unfortunately it was a limited engagement so it only ran for like, 6 months. Maybe less, I don't remember the exact length of the run, but I know it closed in 2007.
If you go back a few pages in the posts someone said that Rosie O'Donnell believed KC would win and provided some people to help her change; also, they said the long hair was a wig that she used to save time by not needing to fix up her hair when removing the "Sally" wig.
She's 4 11" wow! My 15-year-old sister is taller than her! Anyway, Kristin totally rocks! She's a great actress, singer, and comedian (whether she knows it or not). AND SHE'S SO CUTE AND ADORABLE! You just want to run up there and give her a BIG HUG!!!
