The matchmakers completely fumbled. Adesanya vs Chimaev and Strickland vs Whittaker were the fights to make at MW. Costa vs Michel Pereira would have been fireworks too.

I think the best matchups at middleweight right now are 1: Strickland v DDP rematch, 2: Rob fights the winner 3: Khamzat v Izzy, winner of that fights the winner of Rob vs DDP/Strickland.
But instead we have Izzy skipping the line, maybe him vs Khamzat will never happen, and Rob or Strickland will have to wait for their title shot and maybe have to take the risk of another fight in the interim. There's a traffic jam for the belt because of Izzy.
Royval vs Moreno 3 is the answer for featherweight we would definitely watch that.

Oliveira v McGregor is a way bigger fight than Chandler v McGregor and it makes sense for all parties. McGregor immediately gets into the LW title picture if he beats Oliveira and Oliveira gets a massive paycheck.

Have to disagree at BW, if we’re talking about biggest fight to sell it has to be Cejudo vs Aldo. Yes Cejudo is coming off two losses he’s still a bigger star than both Merab and Vera, Merab although on a win streak and getting more entertaining he is still not popular outside of his fan base and for Vera in his biggest fight of his career he became a punching bag has no hype behind him at all. While Aldo is 4-1 in his last 5 against ranked opponents and although Cejudo is on a 2 fight losing streak he is still a big name who is a former double champ. FW GOAT vs former Double champ, sells more than stamina fighter vs punching bag that gets last minute KOs. The narrative and story you could sell off of Aldo vs Cejudo is peak. Especially if they let Cejudo fight Font and he wins.
Plus when Aldo retired he was ranked like 5th it’s easy to say he deserves to be higher up when he already beat Vera, Font, Pedro and now Martinez. I mean 2 of Vera’s last 3 wins were Font and Pedro so he already has a strong claim to a top position.
