- The UFC has had some losses this year that as an MMA fan i wish we could just erase from history and blame CGI. In this video i ranked a couple of these losses on fighters that we love based on how sad these losses amde MMA fans. Let me know if I should have added anyone else

I'd swap Dustin's loss with Volk's loss. At least Volk got to be the champ and had a great reign. Meanwhile Dustin is a legend, but he never got to be an undisputed champion.
Gaethje in D tier is L. The guy literally could wait for Islam but took a fight for fans and lost in a brutal way. It was his last title run and he might end career soon so we won’t see his highlights again

Charles loss against Tsarukyan was not that sad tbh. It was very close and competitive. Also Charles is not out of the title picture just yet, he needs 1 or 2 wins and he is there again, maybe fight Gamrot first then Max.

I really dont understand how Charles is out of the lightweight picture. It was a very close fight and Charles has finishes over pretty much everyone except Islam at the top of the division. Plus hes really excited and has good star power. I feel like both the fans and the ufc would want him to get another shot at the title if he can get 1-2 wins

if he fights gamrot and shuts down his wrestling then koes him or submits him, the ufc will give him another shot, and people will be interesting to see him again against makhachev
When he lose number 1 contender match thats what happen. He needs a good win for example gamrot or gaethje and he will jump back to title picture. But its not guaranteed because the champ wants 2nd belt. I think charles gonna get title shot again in 2026.

What really made me sad from this list? Oliveira - lost because of bad gameplan. Walker - didn't expect him to be rekt like that in boxing, especially since he looked well in the first fight. Holland - more like wtf was he doing? I doubt MVP's style is so hard to approach., but I might be wrong.
I think Dustin should be ranked lower honestly, if anything his fight with Makhachev was a spiritual victory in a way because he survived most of the fight and showed he still had it at his age, and could bow out with dignity. Can't say the same for most of the other guys on this list.
I'm not sad for Dustin. I really wanted him to win but he still went out like a champion, and now he can focus on his family instead of the title defense if he had won.
