Need watch this video while high, I'm telling you its cool asf when just sitting there n thinking bout how cool it sound while shifting the gears n splitting gears man just music
I drove truck over 20 years a box, and a portable parking lot. But I don't think I could drive that unless you put the drive seat back on the left side of the truck or made it an automatic or Auto select whatever you want to call it.
I used to like road rangers but now I'm in a Automatic and I'll never look back..... Hate having my hand stuck on that stick all fucking day... Now my left hand is cooking food yes I can cook and drive now can't do that in this rig
I take it out of gear on the splits also. Sometimes won’t select properly if you just lift off accelerator.. and plus, have to put on a show for the viewers because why not 😎😎
Usually as the splitter side of the gearbox wears out, it can sometimes grind or neutral out when just moving the splitter button forward and releasing the accelerator pedal, which requires having to shift the main box into neutral and pop it back into gear when using the splitter button.
Unfortunately, he is a dying breed of those who can use a manual shift. Auto shift trucks has allowed unskilled people, many who I will never regard as real drivers to be in the industry. Part of an agenda to get rid of any skill so any clown can drive a truck at low wages
Spot on!! The larger fleets in Australia are becoming perforated with "drivers" who cant even drive a manual Corolla - All whilst pushing down the value (and wages) of actual professional drivers in the process
LoOk aT Me iM A sUpER TrUCkeR cAuSe I cAn dRIvE a 18 SpEeD. 🤦. The reason most companies are shifting to Auto is they are far more economical and yes it’s easier to get someone to drive it. Seen a heap of blokes that think they can drive but do more damage to manual boxes then it’s worth. Just cause someone drives and Auto doesn’t make them any less of a skilled driver then someone who drives crash. I drive both, while I enjoy a 18sp I have no issues sliding back into a nice comfy auto .
@@maddkoop Yea ,that's right. In my mind this video is of a super trucker. If you have the ability to skilfully operate a manual then you are a super trucker too!!! I question whether they are actually more economical. I spent 12 years in the US and someone was running trucks in Alaska. On runs, the manual was consistently getting better fuel figures than the auto shift. I don't really believe that they are always more economical, depends on who the driver is. The way my auto shift operates, I often find myself questioning that supposed fact. I still stand by what I said that autos allow people in the industry who I will never regard as real drivers and will lower wages.
@@truckdad549 I've been driving trucks for 4 years after doing a diesel mechanic apprenticeship. The company I work for runs a fleet of autos but I'm getting a bit burnt out with the job and am starting to crave something different. The next job I get I'm actually going to specifically look for a job where I will get to drive a road ranger full time. I can shift them but I just don't have any real experience, certainly looking forward to the challenge and it's a skill I want to master for sure
@@PWD65 Good luck with your search for a different job. More and more companies are going auto.It is a skill that I think is worth gaining. The more u operate a manual the better u get, simple as that

I do the same, Take the jar out of the box. really good when you can do it back down the gears loaded.
Nice
Gotta try it
Too much bro. Like your style🤙
Awesome mate
Ur king
Smooth alright
mean bro you know how to bang gears.
True truckers load it like a rail car and drive it like a nascar
I need to watch another 1000 times before I have any idea what gears you are in at any moment.
It just falls in gear with a little push or like I tell my students little persuation.
Senda mate
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 watching you on here I can type out on here in comments exactly what gears your going through by look
If you were in the states mate those first six gear changes would be in the truck stop head for the fuel island.
What ?
@@TC-iz6xe I think he meant pulling 6 gears across the servo driveway

why go to neutral and back into gear when upshift splitting, i just shift, lift acc all done.

Why you take out of gear to split?
Its smoother, easier on gear

Why do yo knock it in n out of gear when you split
Make sure the split sticks. Comes in handy on steep hills.
What years the truck? That’s pro shifting not even grinding do you double clutch or just float for a question
Just float them mate, no clutch..95 model.
Mostly use your clutch on take off or stop. other than that try avoiding the clutch 🤣🤣
Flasher unit fucked typical kenworth
