Already waiting for months to get my hand on here in The Netherlands (Europe). Contacted LG through all channels, but they can't tell when it will be available.

is this the new MLA+ panel capable of 1300 nits? How do I get 1300 Nits on this for monitor settings with HDR Games?

Hi there! Please try the steps below to check:
      1. Press the joystick button on your monitor to access the OSD menu.
      2. Use the joystick to navigate to the "Settings" option.
      3. Within the "Settings" menu, look for the "Display" or "Picture" option and select it.
      4. Look for the "Brightness" setting and increase the value to the maximum level.
      5. Check if there is an option for "HDR Mode" or "HDR Settings" and select it.
      6. Within the HDR settings, look for the "Game" mode and select it.
      7. Adjust the "Backlight" or "OLED Light" setting to the maximum level.
      8. Save the changes and exit the OSD menu.
Please note that achieving 1300 Nits of brightness may depend on the specific capabilities of your monitor model. If you are unable to find the exact settings mentioned above or if the desired brightness level is not achievable, it may indicate that your monitor does not support reaching 1300 Nits for HDR Game settings. Let us know if this helps! ^Chris

Looking at the specs online, it doesn't look like this monitor has a USB-B upstream input. Does this monitor still support firmware updates without the USB-B port?

Hey there! Thanks for asking us this question. Your monitor would come equipped with a USB-B port. Feel free to check out this link for the firmware update on your 45GS96QB-B monitor: shorturl.at/8du0Q. Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions. ^Anthony 😊
