Hi! You can check the supported frequencies and bands on your wireless card very easily through a couple of steps. To check the supported wireless bands on your wireless card, open a command prompt window. To do this, click on start and search for "Command Prompt". Click on it to open. After it opens, type: "netsh wlan show drivers" without quotes and press enter. The supported bands will be shown under "Radio types supported". To check the supported frequencies, open Device Manager and navigate to the Network adapters section and double-click on it to expand the Network adapters group. Right click on your wireless card and select properties. Click on "Advanced" tab and check if you have the "Preferred band" under Properties. If you have an entry, then your card supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. If you don't have that option, then your card is limited to 2.4GHz frequency. Hope this helps! If you have any additional questions, then send us a PM at Intel --Facebook or a DM @intel -- Twitter. We would love to answer your queries.
