    Nice demo, didn't even get to see it working. You could certainly have a beer whilst you wait for it to load.

    Great feature. One thing that comes to mind is speed. Is there a delay between video/content being shown on the laptop and the TV?

    Kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk I made this without the receiver windows 10 with a 8k smart tv in 2020 I coming of the future, watch old videos is so incredible, that was cool

  • @WhiteDragon103
    @WhiteDragon103 14 лет назад

    Yeah, but the thing they're showing us here is having video rendered through whatever means being put to a display wirelessly - which is likely a video card function here.

    @ShadowsLight15 14 лет назад

    @evi0blackeagle 6 Series i5's (which he mentions the laptop has) have got integrated GPU's so that will deal with the output to the laptop screen.

  • @WhiteDragon103
    @WhiteDragon103 14 лет назад

    Oh, okay. So the thing that processes the wireless signals has the core? They didn't mention that though. They pointed out the i5 in the lappy.

    I have used a $5.00 HDMI cable (from ebay), and a wireless keyboard/mouse for over a year now.
    No "extra software" and drivers to slow down windows either.

    @pvtjamesryan3 HDMI is an audio/video technology.

    some video is rendered in the possessor not the video card. One example of this is all of Flash

    @PhantomAct hdmi means high quality audio and video., cool

  • @d4ark972
    @d4ark972 14 лет назад

    Even if it was, would it be that surprising? There's a thing called 'boot camp' which allows Macs to run Windows.

  • @WhiteDragon103
    @WhiteDragon103 14 лет назад

    Yeah, but the video card is responsible for output to a display - wirelessly or without a wire in this case. I think?

    Is this the exact same thing that comes with the "Blue Label" Toshiba e205 at best buy?

  • @dlouis95
    @dlouis95 14 лет назад

    the video card deos put it on the screen but it deosn';t have to render the image first. The image is rendered in the prossesor and the card just puts it on the screen. In video games, the card renders the image as well as put it on the screen,much more dificult then just puting it up.

    Will it ever be available as software, so you're not dependent so you have the freedom to use ANY computer you want? Also, will these laptops be available anywhere else, besides just Best Buy?

    does the intel wireless display can only work with flat screen tv or could work on other tvs that does not have HD? Does the program only works for big laptops or it can also work on little laptops like the hp mini netbook?

  • @WhiteDragon103

    it seems like you are agreeing with me. lol
    umm all intel processors(well all that i have ever used, and same goes for amd). thig is that it is the first time that it will transmit wireless signals.
    i was replying to whitedragon103 that the cpu is also part of the videohardware. this only changes when you add a graphics card.

    It's an epic feature , considering that people tend to just download pirated movies,series and such , instead of buying them , and by the looks of it , it's super easy to use , so kudos intel xD

  • @foxiiiiik

    @foxiiiiik just watch other videos where you can notice a remarkable delay during transfer. This video doesn't show the truth.

    They sure didn't show much of that display on the TV. Probably because the video kept going in and out. Technology isn't there yet.
