I had composite on two chipped teeth when I was like 13/14.
I’m 24 now, they haven’t changed at all.
That's good ;) I'm considering it
I got veneers many years ago. It did change my smile for the better, but I was never warned by my dentist that they literally file down my existing healthy teeth that I’ve had since I was born down to the nub.
I had to use the restroom in the middle of the procedure and when I looked at my teeth in the mirror, I let out an audible gasp. I was quite literally shook.
Are you recommed veneer to other? Pls help me out.. Im about to make an appoitment
@@achillesjoe1447 I had composite veneers done to my upper teeth & im so glad I did it. Just be sure to find a competent & knowledgeable dental practitioner in your area.
@@kismet2354 good for 3 to 5 years has me quite concerned. Is it true ?
@@jmack619 - It really does depend on how careful you are when chewing or eating. If you enjoy crunching on nuts or ice, then yes, it will chip & you’d have to get it fixed.
I’ve had a slight chipping on my composite veneer last year & had to visit my Dentist for a touch up. Unlike the more expensive Porcelain Veneers, they can also discolor, if you eat a lot of spicy curries/food cooked with turmeric & drink copious amounts of Colas/Coffees/red wines.
Nothing is ever permanent & with the passage of time, a redo is inevitable.
@@kismet2354 How much do they cost, and how durable how they? How was your overall experience whilst eating hard food.
My teeth are straight and I always get compliments on them. Never had braces I was just born luckily enough with great teeth! Although lately I've noticed a gap forming in my front tooth and a few on the side and bottom so I guess composite bonding would be best for me
No get Invisalign
Also please ask you dentist to check periodontal health. Some cases teeth drift due to underlying gum disease
@BMSurgeon yes I definitely had gingivitis cause yeah I never use to floss but I floss as of the last year and it is getting better I got the gap filled with composite bonding
Great explanation. just had one teeth done and I am so happy. what a great way to upgrade the smile
That was very informative, thank you for sharing! xx
Very informative information! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you it helps me to decide
Coz my dentist advised me to do veneer!!! And of course more money!!!
just a small chip and discoloration of the my
Teeth.
Is 3-5 years a minimum? My mother has composite veneers and they have hardly chipped or worn down in 12 years, although she has been very careful since, she did need to whiten a few times though
That's impressive.
thats awesome
Meron din friend ko almost 20years na dipa still intact..
How did she whiten, I thought you couldn’t whiten composite veneers?
@@krystalteresa2366 you can't.
Thank you so much for the informative video & overall tips! I continue going over this option because I know it’s much quicker to be able to get it done- In the sense, it’s more affordable. And can be local. Though it is getting what’s paid for (technically).
I really feel dental laminate veneers are just my best go-to interests because I really just want to undergo a treatment (finally when I do haha), and just be done with it for years to come.* I’ve gone through an array of different experiences, that unfortunately haven’t been favorable, and I’ve thankfully later on come across good doctors/dentists, etc. Who’ve properly advised me. So, I’ll be going for what was last recommended to me, which was 8 porcelain veneers (I hope to do Lumineers), except, get them done overseas (Dominican Rep. : my roots ❤), cause they’re significantly much more less than in the states. ✅ It’s just tolling because it’s having to first travel overseas (and that’s been at a long halt for me), it’s the mobility during travel,* I feel I’d schedule an appointment with the office & then see how it goes. They do pick-ups. ❤ Though, I really barely have wifi nor signaling really, when over there, so what I don’t get to schedule here- It becomes difficult over there. I’d mostly be able to save info of different offices’ locations & contact info but again, mobility & service.’
It’s a sketch haha. I’d thankfully be able to go with my family though & really have it as a vacay trip. Plus I hope to keep it as natural & conservative as possible. I was advised composite is quicker & every so often, to just have it fixed.* Though was also advised about veneers. - Someone else (dentist) also said top 8 veneers but it’s extremely expensive in the states, so, it’s not really worth it lol. Knowing I can get a better deal overseas instead. So, it’s definitely not easy. It’s just wanting to actually be happy with my results for a change. ❤❤❤🥰 ‘Appreciate the tips, again!
Her husband is soo lucky to have her in his life ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful women. Very clear and concise explanation..
Great Vlog. Can composite veneers be done on lower teeth? Many thanks
Thank you ! It was very useful.
Great video! But more echo than the 4 boys had in Liverpool!
These were all batch filmed in advance so no need to point it out every time.
@@YourSmileClinic what about bio clear
You said they might last 3-5yrs. What happens then? Do they need to be removed and re-done?
Thanks for information
Can a lateral teeth which is missing can be done through composite
Hi,
If you have a narrow smile, eg your lateral incisors are very slightly back, just a few mm. Can this treatment round off, widen your smile? I've been told it's around £250 per full tooth. Does that sound about right? I was quoted £1,200 for my upper front 6.
Thank you.
Hi, i just had my braces removed. Is it okay to have composite bonding without wearing retainers?
I really really really want it 🤓
I’ve just subscribed! I’m in year 11 right now and am interested in dentistry, may you give some advice to becoming a dentist and your experiences in Dentistry school. Thank you!
Do an apprenticeship, real life experience and wage at once, plus you’ll probably have a job at the same practice after you’re done too
@@cadillac_xo6116 Interesting, I will look into that. Was there something that you didn’t like about dentistry?
I have a tiny chip on my front tooth that approx 1mm and got a composite filling. Since it’s so small is it more likely to break?
Can this technique be applied to molar teeth on the back to restore them from bruxism? Thank you!
that's beautiful / gorgeous Doc
So basically only if there is decay we treat it first with RCT then veneers? Or Bonding?
Hi. Can you add composite bonding to premolar teeth to increase their size ?
Hi Billy sorry for the super late reply, but yes you can in certain circumstances - it depends on your bite and if there’s space.
Are floss picks good or bad ?
Hey I have a question I have a bonded tooth is it fine if I can still use poligrip I’m scared of it gets hard to take off and pull out my bonded tooth ?
Can I keep opening beers after treatment?
With my teeth 🦷
I can’t believe you just asked this 😂
unrelated question, apart from teeth and tongue, should one brush other parts of their mouth as well? say, palate or inside of cheek or below the tongue?
Yes, I use peroxide to clean my mouth with the brush, the roof of mouth. (I’m a cheek biter so I use peroxide
@@Toytatu is peroxyde reccomended ? Thought it was bad for teeth
@@jmack619 after researching I saw that it’s safe, since it’s in toothpaste. You should be careful with all oral liquids, even fluoride.
What about a gap?
Hi. I'm 35 yrs old. I just want to ask cause I have tooth bonding in some my teeth. Is that still possible for me to have braces?
Yes you can still have braces if you have had composite bonding. Sometimes you may need the composite removing to achieve the results you want but best to speak to your dentist about it.
You should get a mic… too much echo in the room
Where are you located at?
Bonding has made me feel poisoned. Can't recover or get help. Very toxic!
Please elaborate. Is there a chemical in the bonding that's causing this?
Pls share more info…
I had teeth pulled that were all fixed from burning. Now allergic to denture. I'm so sick over this. Never trust allergy tests!
Great video dr !
How to ask your advice or help on my case as I’m withdraw can’t smile or eat properly lost friends because my top jaw
How to get in touch by email please
Many thanks

ngl i wish there was time stamps
😂i cant wait to bond 😍 lol
does lemon water hurt your teeth? or is it ok to drink?
Bad mate. You'd be surprised - pretty much anything other than water erodes your teeth
Just use a straw
I ruined mine with lemon water every morning, because I didn't rinse after, also just eating acidic fruit and dried fruit without rinsing. Fermented foods can do the same.
Is it normal for bonding to only last a year an half
My gap in front came back
I guess because my teeth shifted? I’m in my 30s
I thought it would last longer
you need to wear a retainer. Teeth shift all your life, its like getting braces or invisalign and then not wearing your retainer after you've completed your treatment; your teeth will go back to the way it was.
@@tamidivine9590 it’s weird because I had braces in 4th grade my gap was huge
And then at 31 my gap wasn’t nearly as big as it was
And I never wore retainer
I got bonding done because it was a little big and year later it started spacing
But wouldn’t all my teeth shift? Not just the front two???
@@talksick508 I don't think you're shifting from the bonding I think you're shifting is has to have something to do with your braces my best guess is if you just waited the rest would start to shift too your front teeth might be getting more stress pressure put on them than the rest of your teeth
@@reneeburtness1526 appreciate that
But I haven’t had braces since 4th grade
So idk what it is :(

Why are you in USA LOL jk. If only there was a thing called Universal Insurance
Buy a damn better mic
Rude
Why is this lady using British accent? I just watched two other presentations on youtube with an Asian dentist and an Indian. They are practicing in the US but why do they have British accent? Including this woman.
There is hundreds of reasons why, but the important question is why does that bother you and why do you care? Also if English is not her first language, but we don't know that, who decides if she should speak British or Aussie or south African English? Is there a rule that says " if English is you second language it must be American and nothing else"?
Lol she is British obviously you numpty
She’s from Britain. Thus, she speaks with a “British accent.” If you actually watched the video, she mentioned her clinic is in Manchester.
Lol that's like asking why the sky is blue or why does the sun rise in the east... Cuz it just does okay? Smh.
Wth?
