I miss Billy, but I love Alejandro's voice also. I respect Billy for telling us to support anyone who replaces him, and his work in video games and stellar animes will never be forgotten. I wish Alejandro the best of luck on his time with the show!

It’s weird how the slight difference in voices actually lines up with the story arc. LBD-Era Macaque was a lot angrier and more desperate, which Billy pulled off perfectly. Now with Alejandro voicing Macaque, he sounds more hurt when he’s shouting, like he’s really trying to hold on to the last bit of his anger and not masking it as well as he did before. Really cool!

Alejandro is SO GOOD at emotionally raw lines, like his role as Cheng Xiaoshi in Link Click really utilizes this.

it's so sad yet such a touching thing to have casted Alejandro as macaque since both of them were really good friends. and then it just makes it hurt even more knowing that he wanted to listen to billy's performance and mimick it as best as he could.

Knowing people wouldn't accept anyone to be replacement because some of them needed it or don't needed it. I guess the fact most of fans can be negative and didn't learn how to respect if you been hearing some voice actors did a great job or not, but no one wouldn't understand how hard they has tried...

It's rare that a replacement like this is done so well. Billy was brilliant, and Alejandro is already living up to that level.
It's so good that, honestly, I don't know if I'd have noticed had I not already known.

I love Alejandro’s voice as like different eras of Macaque. Like in the past the pain he feels sounds more real than what we see in the present and present Macaque just sounds so exhausted, like after beating LBD he’s just so… tired. Meanwhile Billy was full of repressed spite just waiting to seep out at any moment. An undercurrent of rage hidden behind arrogance

I didn't even notice the voice change till someone pointed it out! I thought that Billy recorded a majority of Season 4 already and Alejandro was going to be introduced in Season 5. To find out he debuted in Season 4 really had to me shooketh, I didn't think they sounded that much alike since I only know him as Cyno...Massive range diffrence.

@@Neilabushkara2307 Sadly, Macaque died because of Wukong during a battle between them. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that Macaque wanted to kill Wukong's master (The monk), so Wukong could be free.

To me, Alejandro really does sounds like macaque, which is the whole point. When the season came out I didn't even realize the voice actor was different, but I do feel like Alejandros voice acting makes macaque sound a bit more somber, which I don't mind

Current Macaque is Champion Leon from Pokemon, Yuro Goha from Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens and Takeshi Momoshiro from The Prince of Tennis.

Bill Kametz's whole voice acting filmography is horribly short and lame. Not to mention he started his career just in the near end of 2010's. I was thinking that he should have started at least in 2005 at age 18 before he would think to die while he just started voice acting outside manga dubs.
