First thing to do is press power on then hold the start button for 3 or 4 seconds and close door to see if pump will drain any residual water from prior washing. This actually fixed my water tap message and beeping was also stopped.

Hi Everyone you have to stop and do what this comment says. All the fixes won't take effect until you reset so that the machine can execute the right function... This is a computerized operation by the way. Thanks

Here is another quick fix that works. The filter in the bottom of my dishwasher dishwasher was clean, yet clogged with mineral build up. I soaked the filter in vinegar (like cleaning a coffee maker) for an hour and it was like the second coming of the messiah--the dishwasher works 1000% better, the sound of the washing cycle is much more vigorous, and no more water tap error--for over a month.
