I was fortunate enough to have met and conversed with Mr. Price and his third wife Coral. I wrote him a letter about his art collection late in his life and he responded warmly. He was an absolutely wonderful man, so witty, charming and brilliant. It was one of the highlights of my life to have spoken to him for those 20 minutes.
Vincent Price was and is a rare jewel amongst actors. He was talented, nice and friendly and as good as a comedian as a horror actor. I miss him dearly, but he lived his life to the fullest and his fans will always remember and love him. RIP Vincent.
I had the chance to interview Vincent Price not once, not twice but three times and he was the most delightful interview! I miss the days of daytime TV talk shows like Merv Griffn, Mike Douglas and Dinah Shore!
I wish I could have met him in person. He just sounds like one of the most wonderful gentlemen you could meet. I would have loved to have him as an adopted uncle! LOL!
Vincent is a rare bird for sure. Erudite, educated, always funny, and a bit more than menacing too. I named my pet rat after Vincent Price. She was a fine rat. Goodnight Dr. Phibes.
So erudite and all around charming that I just assumed he was British. Turns out he was as American as apple pie, but knew how to act like he was English.
When Vincent started talking about Elitch's Garden's in Denver and the amusement park there, I was so hoping that Merv would let Price continue because he had a great love for amusement parks and, especially, for roller coasters - he called them "rolly coasters." At the age shown in his clip, he still rode many, including the terrifying original Colossus at Magic Mountain in California. I had the privilege of filming him on several. He was a wonderful man and I was very sad to hear of his passing.
He played a the evil prosecutor, Vital in the movie “Song of Bernadette” which was about the life and death of St. Bernadette Soubirous of Lourdes. The role changed from a pernicious persecutor of Bernadette to a truly penitent who stated the last words of the play, “Pray for me Bernadette!”
OMG! Merv can be so insufferably inane and his comments and interview prompts so utterly awkward, buzz killing and irrelevant. Astonishing that had the success he enjoyed with such weak interviewing skills.
Merv Griffin was always so disinterested and fake with his guests , it was difficult to watch. His only talent was as a singer, he was underated in that area.

Lucky you ☺️ . I do know Vincent Price was born in St Louis
I'm so jealous! That's cool, though!❤

Vincent was the classiest, most charming gentleman. Old world, witty, great sense of humor. A wonderful actor and mentor.
I had the chance to interview Vincent Price not once, not twice but three times and he was the most delightful interview! I miss the days of daytime TV talk shows like Merv Griffn, Mike Douglas and Dinah Shore!
I forgot how funny Vincent was, just the Master of all good things, art and culture and... everything 🤩
A fantastic performer. They don't make them as good as this anymore😔

R.I P. Vincent.
Gone but NOT forgotten.
I have been to Britain, and the whole place felt like one was in a Hammer Films horror movie.
Fascinating man would love to have met him.
Sure about that? It’s rumored he had a thing for the underage.
@@electriceyeslide5959 It is rumored you have a thing for the rumore...

Got to enjoy The Great Man onstage in Damn Yankees. The memories still make me smile.
Excellent!
I liked Vincent's cooking show.
A lovely man.
6:40 "They think we all wear toupees and they are....so right" That was hilarious.

Claramente que tienes problemas con la ortografía en el inglés. Saint Louis, Missouri.
Vincent Price was a brilliant actor. Merv Griffin was an execrable host.
Love his info re California wines and all wines as i sip my Rex Goliath Cabernet Sauvignon.

I didn’t even know merv had a talk show.
I did and loved it! 😊
he sounds like willam defoe
🎉
Irritating how Merv constatnly interupts his guests. I miss a lot of what the guest is saying because Mervs voice drowns him out. Too late now!

He seemed more to be aggressive, sarcastic and borderline cynical in this interview. Probably why Vincent mentionned its hair and vanity.
Merv Griffin was always so disinterested and fake with his guests , it was difficult to watch. His only talent was as a singer, he was underated in that area.
There’s no way that man was straight.
Seek help.
HAHAHAHAHA 😜🤪
