I was hoping that Lee would tell the story about the time he was caught in a shower of rain in Switzerland and his car broke down. Arriving at a farmer's house to ask to use the telephone, the poor Swiss farmer opened the front door and took fright on seeing 'Dracula' crying out "È lui!" (It's him!) and promptly fainting!

Christopher Lee considered Wicker Man one, or his, greatest roll. Terrifying film starring a master. I adore Lee. And Cushing. And our state side answer Price.
Christopher Lee happened to be staying at a hotel in Iceland in which I stayed for a couple of days. We had a chat at breakfast one morning, what a charming, knowledgable and intelligent man.
I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful man when he flew into the airport that I was working at the time. A true movie icon and for the short time i was in his company i really felt i was in the company off movie greatness. Christopher was about 92 years old at the time and i have a wonderful photo of that meeting that I often look at with great fondness.
Spooky that Christopher Lee and Vincent Price share the same birthday, May 27th. And Peter Cushing was born May 26th. Three amazing actors and gentlemen that we will unfortunately never see the likes of again.
Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing were two true gentlemen. There were many big stars who were there in person or offered congratulations through film clips, yet Christopher and Peter were the closest of friends throughout their lives. Aside from his immediate family, I feel Peter's attendance meant the most to Christopher. Its touching to see. Two great talents very much missed.
Christopher Lee, Pete Cushing, Vincent Price and the bad boy Oliver Reed all in one room..If i had a fantasy inviting legends for dinner then these guys would be on my list
One of my very all time favorite actors, the great Charlton Heston, paying homage to one of my other very all time favorite actors, the great Christopher Lee. Have the biggest smile on my face right now. God Bless and Rest In Peace both of these fine gentlemen.
The Lee family looked liked very charming people.. This video really reminds me that you can have a great family and terrific friends. But sadly time marches on and such great people will all pass away. Live the best life you can with the time you have left. 👍
There's a great deal of love and good feelings toward Chris Lee, this is a world I was born into but has since passed away and it was a pleasure to see this again after many years
I've also found Christopher Lee an intriguing person and a bit of a mystery, highly intelligent and fluent in several languages, there's a presence, and a dark mystic and aura about him......that deep rich voice , dark features and tall stature ,..if ever a person was born to play the Prince of darkness himself Count Dracula he was ,.but my all-time favorite film of his ,.is :....The Wicker Man
Chris Evans I just found out today that he played in The Wicker Man after reading up on him. And after hearing him describe it as the best movie role of his career etc I’m dying to watch it. I only hope I can track it down. He was a legend as an Actor and as a Man. There is not another person that can come close to touching his life if they had 2 lifetimes to do it.
The war helped shape him. Though officially he was listed as "support", he was in SOE, a secret unit. When a director said to him I want you to imagine somebody being stabbed in the back, Lee's answer was "I don't have to imagine!" He knew the true face of war.!

She was a big fan. I will always remember those great moment's with her. Christopher Lee left his legacy from Dracula to Count Dooku in Star Wars. He leave's his mark in movie history and will be remembered.
@@galehawkins-colon6704 Did you know that when Bella Died he left Chris his Dracula Ring and Chris made sure to wear it as tribute every time he played the roll.
Actually the real first movie Dracula was a German consentration camp survivor people barely remember ... But the movie he played in was so scary it still has people who won't watch it all the way through. The amazing Kurt Van Danghorne who was the Dracula in Nosferatu. Bela Lugosi and his unique style and manner. The way he spoke still gives chills. Buried in his Dracula Cape when he died. Christoper Lee was a good Dracula. But he wasn't the best. The three Musketeers... That was awesome.

WOW! THE 3 masters of horror in one show! EPIC!
So many stars sadly missed including this guy
Absolutely
Yes
There's not many of these videos I can sit through these days but this was absolutely legendary!!! I loved the way Oliver Reed stood up as soon as Peter Cushing walked in,. It showed a great deal of respect..
I absolutely love the reaction from Mr. Lee at 23:25 when he realizes Vincent Price made the trip.
And they are each tall enough to be on eye level. What a dashing pair.
Loved him in The Wicker Man and he did the role for free as he loved his part. What a gentleman.
Christopher Lee considered Wicker Man one, or his, greatest roll. Terrifying film starring a master. I adore Lee. And Cushing. And our state side answer Price.
Absolutely magnificent, what an amazing man.
Absolutely loved Christopher Lee my favourite Dracula, and to have Peter Cushing and Vincent Price there too fantastic.
CHRISTOPHER LEE AND VINCENT PRICE, THEY WERE THE BEST OF THE BEST !!!!!!!! WONDERFUL VIDEO !!!!!!
Christopher Lee happened to be staying at a hotel in Iceland in which I stayed for a couple of days. We had a chat at breakfast one morning, what a charming, knowledgable and intelligent man.
Different era, when gentlemen actually stood in the presence of ladies simply to show respect 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Indeed Peter and its a fast disappearing gesture.
Christopher Lee is a truly fascinating character. We would not have the wicker man without him.
Absolutely fantastic RIP Christopher Lee .
I was raised with all these actors and they were the best ever in my eyes, thanks for scaring me to death when I was a kid lol.
I loved this man for his charm and he is the best Dracula ever
Saurumon, Francisco Scaramanga, Count Dooku, so many more
@@KenFromBeara Yes he was Great ☺thanks for your Comment
An absolute beautiful gracious man, what a lovely smile, we always saw him so serious!
Spooky that Christopher Lee and Vincent Price share the same birthday, May 27th. And Peter Cushing was born May 26th. Three amazing actors and gentlemen that we will unfortunately never see the likes of again.
This is brilliant. I love seeing Christopher’s face when he sees his old buddies for the first time in years. What a class act
His autobiography is fascinating. Such a plethora of great actors. Mostly sadly gone now.
Christopher Lee, Pete Cushing, Vincent Price and the bad boy Oliver Reed all in one room..If i had a fantasy inviting legends for dinner then these guys would be on my list
zak iqbal these guys would be first on my list of dinner guests. What a party that be!!
Agree.
A interesting fact about Trevor Howard he was actually dismissed from the army because it was believed he had psychopathic tendencies.
He WASN'T "PETE" Cushing to anyone!
I want to be there.
All of them together on one stage. Is just brilliant.
Found this by mistake but couldn't stop watching absolutely platinum RUclips video amazing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
@@mlandry21169 I hope you got to watch The Wicker Man, it's a highly respected and loved movie here in the UK
Oh lovely to see my mom. She looked so beautiful…she loved working with Christopher and Peter!
That is an amazing show and an amazing story about an amazing man with amazing friends.
God bless Christopher Lee.
see how Oliver Reed stood up to shake Peter Cushing's hand.
ian bentley oliver Reed, what a true legend, it was said he was such a quiet, shy man and drank to be more confident, real gentleman and a legend
@@ianmcfadden5450 indeed, and always such good value on chat shows when sober.
He stood up for the ladies and for Peter Cushing, Ollie was a real class act as well as a huge talent, when all's said and done.
@@glamdolly30 indeed, there's a really
indeed, there';s a good interview with Parky on here somewhere.
@@ianbentley7276 Thanks for the reminder, I'll look it up. I hate the Aspel one he did drunk, with everyone taking the piss - he was too good for that.
Watching clips of the first Musketeers movie from 1973, and am reminded what a brilliant villain Christopher Lee was playing Roqueforte. This is a particularly funny clip - enjoy! ruclips.net/video/RJ5aGf0j26c/видео.html
Christopher Lee, he was so handsome.
Did his own fencing without a mask: wow even more of a legend. Didn’t realise what a big guy he was.
Honestly the best piece of television I have watched in a long time. I have been a huge fan of Lee and Reed since I was a child watching The Three Musketeers. Can't get enough of his stories about his time in the service!
I like all of christopher lee's films also the best Dracula ever.
All the big names are great, but to have your family around while it happens is the real joy i would think.
I share my birthday with some amazing horror film actors, that I can remember sneaking to watch as a kid in the middle of the night, as I loved scary movies even at a very young age. I can remember being 5 and having the biggest crush on “Dracula”. ❤️🧛🏻♂️
I still cant take it in the he has gone 2 years come June 7th 2017, he and Peter are always in my throughts, i miss them so much.I never met them but it would of been a great honour to say these 2 fine actors will never ever be replaced. R I P Peter and Christopher love you both forever more.
Gail Jacqueline Mrs Gray Don't forget Vincent. It's nice to think that the three of them are together again in Heaven.
Wow what a wonderful treat to see this show. The look in his face, you know he was so happy. I grew up in the late 70's, my mother would always get me to watch horror movies with her. She was a big fan. I will always remember those great moment's with her. Christopher Lee left his legacy from Dracula to Count Dooku in Star Wars. He leave's his mark in movie history and will be remembered.
To all you people under 40, this is the real Dracula
Yes next to Bela Lugosi ,Christopher scared the heck out of me as Dracula..
@@galehawkins-colon6704 Did you know that when Bella Died he left Chris his Dracula Ring and Chris made sure to wear it as tribute every time he played the roll.
@@TheSLUser no I had no idea,interesting..
@@memorialled_zeppelin-warew1346 he was the best.
This is simply wonderful. What a life! Very much missed.
...and actually the best Bond villain ever... and the most convincing!
Top, top, top awesome charismatic Gentleman I once had the pleasure to meet. I'm glad he got his turn on this show.
I watch this vídeo infinite times... And i am not tired... Peter, cristopher and vincent ... Masters among masters... All my respect to them!!!
So many horror legends under one roof. And to the eloquent english accents sadly lost in modern times, such a shame.
