its actually explained that gotham wasn't this crime infested and was like all your average cities
it was after the waynes were shot the city started going down hill because people saw that someone as powerful as them could be taken down . they were a symbol for gotham and now the symbol was gone, proven false.
and by the time bruce becomes batman[ he starts at 25 the waynes died at around 9/8]
it became the most crime infested city in america
the place is called crime alley cause the waynes were shot there and gotham's descent began there
before it was just a everyday nobody would recognize alley just an alley in front of a theater
of course we still have the question even if you are living in your average vanilla city
why would millionares not have security?
to that well the waynes thought that nobody would ever attack them and the people of gotham loved them
as stupid as that sounds that's the attitude they held
they had done a lot for the city and were planning more improvements to what was already considered one of the greatest cities in america , they thought people would love them and they would never be attacked
it was because of this attitude and all the contributions to making it greater even though it was great was what made them a symbol for gotham
well we know where that attitude and being a symbol lead them and rest of gotham .

@@ankurdesai8370 we know, we just playing with ideas because of the video, think of it as 'what if' idea 😊
such as, what if the Waynes were downright plain nasty, weapon creating (*cough* Bane *cough*) lunatics & thats why everyone feared them so much they stayed away until they got a chance to jump them & to kill them, not realising its their money that was keeping the city afloat? hence, in this funny vid, he had body guards 😊, though i must admit, i was not expecting that to happen, GG Dorkly 😂👏👏x
so, yeah, my 'what if' setup was if daddy had another lady (money, having kids, can be a drain & bore you sometimes from what ive seen) or 'what if' wifey had a lover? who knows 😊 all i know, its fun to imagine lol 😊xxx

Maybe not causing chaos per-say, the joker wins outright. However, I would say batman is just as insane as the joker. Here are some examples:
The Dark Knight Returns: From breaking the bones of the mutant leader, to killing Superman (and kind of dying at the same time) this proved old age Batman is the most insane and unstable, but also the most awesome, of them all.
Year One: There are many moments, but the scene where he causes the car wreck so he can escape the police car showed just how dark a road Bruce Wayne would travel down as Batman.
The Resurrection of Ra’s Al Ghul: Batman gets speared through the stomach with Ghul’s staff, and it does little else but piss him off. This is the first time I wondered if Batman was on meth.
Kingdom Come: Batman couldn’t care less about protecting his private identity at this point, and walks around as Bruce Wayne, with people just calling him Batman. He has silver hair and a crazy steampunk-neck contraption, and he STILL owns with little regard.
Final Crisis: Batman breaks his number one rule and shoots to kill. Only he shoots Darkseid, which just pisses off Darkseid and causes Batman himself to get killed. Instant karma, man. And though Batman was not “dead” in the normal sense( he was hurtled through time, of course) it still showed that when it comes right down to it, Batman is crazy and will do whatever it takes.
See what happens when you break your own rules, Batman?

Fun Fact: People born into wealth are actually hit harder than people born into poverty by bankruptcy for several reasons.
Rich people dont buy on credit, they buy with cash, and as such, have ZERO credit history when they go bankrupt (Really bankrupt, like move into the maids apartment complex bankrupt)
Rich people dont know how to balance a budget that is actually tight.
You dont hear about it a lot, but its quite common the children of lesser millionaires to blow through their inheritance, and wind up homeless, because they cant loans, get get a house because credit scores are a factor in both purchase and rental, and be unable to find a job, because they dont know how to actually work.
for us poor people, going from broke, to rich, to broke again, just means going back to our original state.

  • @voiceofreason467
    @voiceofreason467 2 года назад +7

Couple of problems with this Dorkly Bit that the writers conveniently ignore:
#1 Crime Alley is called that because of the death of Bruce's parents.
#2 Batman has used his wealth and legal power plenty of times to build up low income housing, stop police from getting more lethal policing gear and instead direct their efforts towards better investigative tools and promoting police being a part of the community they're, and he's also poured all the wealth he makes from his Foundation (that isn't spent on gear for his own work) goes to charity organizations that not only help the city but also building better infrastructure for the poor in an effort to be a pillar of his community. Batman may be technically a member of the 1%, but I feel like a proper portrayal of Batman would have him literally go after these types for harming their communities and their cities all for their own profit. Because he's done this in the past.
#3 I find that this reduction of why Batman isn't heroic while funny, really illustrates the "hot takes" nature of this whole ordeal in that, there is no seriousness to it, its just an attempt to shit on the character. I mean, allow me to point out the obvious, Batman is a victim of Survivor's Guilt, he literally blames himself for what happened to his parents and believes that through fixing the city with his finances and through stopping crime (not through beating up criminals, but active detective work) from being so prevalent and sacrificing all of his own life and happiness to this cause... just so that way nobody has to go through what he did. This is also incredibly insensitive in describing trauma, it indicates that if your rich you have all the ability to get over your shit and the luxury of life not to worry about your problems... just hire a psychiatrist and get over it. But that's the problem, Bruce has tried that throughout a good deal of his life and it never helped. And not only that, most rich people who experience this kind of trauma never get over it, and Bruce's trauma is meant to signify that no matter how much money and wealth you have, sometimes it will never be enough to hearl whatever was done to you in your traumatic event. It's a message that cuts across class divisions and shows us that in the end, we're human, all of us, wealthy, poor and middle class.
That's pretty much it, the video is still funny beyond these points, but these issues of "criticism" through parodying how ridiculous the character is, is several steps removed from actually taking on the issues with Batman in any fashion that is meaningful.

    Bat Mario maker 3 ideas:
    camera block:
This detects when a enemy or Mario appears in it's sight and sends an electrical current
It can be flipped, have wings and be placed on tracks it has two variations in one it can be flipped by jumping on it and in the other it flips automatically
    Electric cables:
If a object is activated by Mario, a shell or something and it is connected by a cable to another block(s), that block(s) gets activated also it can be connected like a track (available in 3dw)
    Electric block:
When powered this can be touched (available in 3dw)
    Plugshroom:
When touching the ZL button you switch everything from on to off or vice versa
    Ice flower:
It is a fire flower that turns enemies into blocks, The blocks can be passed through by Mario but not by enemies and have some different effects on other enemies
    Anti block:
This block can be placed on anything, tracks pipes bullet bill blasters etc, they act like a boo that doesn't deal damage in all of these. But it makes holes inside ground which Mario can be in and they have a deletion variation that deletes ground, destroys enemies and platforms (available in 3dw)
    Robo Mario:
This has the same physics as a player, it can be picked up and given power ups, at night it presses the y button every second (available in 3dw)
    Platform pad:
You can change the position of this platform depending on where you stand
    3d world:
    Potted Pirhana plant:
It's a pot which you can carry with a Pirhana plant that eats people, can shoot fire and has a tiny flutter
    Skating shoe:
It acts like a koopa car, with a little twirl when you jump, if you don't move it on ice or the snow them,
    Conkdor:
It swing it's head automatically which can hit blocks and items
    Ports:
Stone blocks and toads can be used outside story mode
All 3d world masks are in the other game styles
    New non obvious clear conditions:
Get to the end with the p switch timer still going
Get to the end with the level being OFF
    Only jump ( ) times
    Destroy ( ) robo Mario's
Get to the end with ( ) robo Mario's
There are also NOT clear conditions that are the same as different clear conditions but you lose the clear condition if you clear them
    Extra stuff:
You can apply a "respawn" trait to things that can respawn in vs mode
You can move the end and start goals
    And where multiplayer players start
Goomba shoes and Yoshis can be ridden by making them go up below the player
    Clear pipes can fuse
You unlock items by default but you can immediately get a truck to give you some items at demand
And you can costumize ALL editor ui
Randomness is based on your clock
You can let your levels be downloaded and edit or not
    New modes:
Ninja training, all courses get ninjis so you can train for new ninji courses
Mario challenge, you can participate in these level making competitions in which a theme for the courses is chosen and you need to make a course around that
Levels can also be cleared in separate clear conditions and those clears will be categorized differently
    Trailer and game plan:
First, there's a teaser trailer with ONLY the ice flower and no new features
Then there's a trailer with every little detail about the ice flower with some new features (no new items) in plain sight and near the direct ends It is announced that the game will be updated weekly (which it will) and the direct ends with some random people saying this direct sucked and some other stuff
So then new items are unlocked to everyone weekly with the ice flower unlocked at the start and then everyone is happy

@@Zift_Ylrhavic_Resfear that's very Marxist. Class warfare don't work, Socialism don't work. Worker's make product. Worker's didn't build the company, they didn't design a product that would benefit so many people that it sold, they didn't gather all the right people to make the product that benefits millions a reality. There are a lot more steps than making the product to make money. Let alone the idea that these supposed "billions" of dollars are just sitting in a bank account of 1 person is a lie "profits" are what's paying their paychecks, profits are what allowing the company to build a better product over time that makes millions more lives better, it helps build a cheaper product so everyone can enjoy it.
It's actually pretty selfish way too think the "Worker's" did everything and deserve all the money. The profit motive isn't a bad thing, always that profit makes more jobs this is DOES go to Worker's.
Now I'm not saying it's a perfect system either companies can do bad things. I'm all for things like safety regulations (within limits), and antitrust laws preventing companies getting to much power with that money, (see Google, Facebook, Amazon). Companies shouldn't be like government. They shouldn't have the power to stifle rights declared in the US constitution.
