    By far I think the most innovative upgrade is the handle bar turning signals. That should be a staple in all scooters to make any turning signal that more noticeable on roads. Very sick scooter overall

    Great scooter with cool features...gotta give Apollo credit. I own the Phantom V2 60V version but I'm wondering if there's a market for a $4,000 scooter when the Talaria XXX is $2,995 which is faster with more range, better suspension, and way better for off road or city rides. The electric scooter market is evolving fast and every 6 months something better comes along which makes that price standout as a deal breaker

      This is an entirely new class of scooter. It's sadly being clumped into the hyper scooter class, against which it doesn't compete very well. This new class of scooter is the vehicle class of scooter. It's designed to target people that want a 2nd car, but without the cost of a car. All other scooters don't work for this because if it's a rainy day, you need to put your scooter away and find an alternate form of transportation. With the Apollo Pro that's not true. You can use this scooter all year round (in warm climates). This is why it has controversial drum brakes. Disk brakes don't do well in wet weather.

    I came here because it’s your newest vid. I was watching “bet for hills” vid and I think we need a chart. Starting with riders weight then asking for maximum grade you ride on, and give a nm torque necessary… If you get my drift. THEN, if you’re feeling extra generous give a list of qualified scooter models priced low to high. THAT would be so helpful.

    Not sure whether to go with the Apollo pro due to the features and 'niceities', or the Nami Burn-e Viper 2 Max, which gives me a smoother ride and a bit more confidence with the stem design. Although they've updated the stem design, it still urks me a bit, whereas the Nami has a much more robust mechanism. What do you guys think?

    • @RIDEGLIDE
      @RIDEGLIDE  Год назад +1

      The way we look at it, Apollo are making solid, smooth scooters and are pushing the market forward with their tech innovation more practicality and security. Nami are pushing the market forward with performance quality. It really comes down to how you like the look of each, how fast you want your scooter to be, whether you ride more on hard surfaces or off-road etc
      Depend what’s most important to you 👍👍

    Unrelated to the Apollo, but I really appreciate your reviews so I figured I’d ask you about my upcoming purchase: I’ve narrowed down my search to the Vsett 10+R (28Ah version) which is currently $2350 USD with a free steering damper included. Reckon it’s still a winner at that price? Lots of steep hills here so I need plenty of power, and my range needs are usually 20 miles or less.

      Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed. Range seems pretty good but to add speed they would have had to increase motor size, controller size and lose some torque so i think it would have made it more costly for the customer. Think they are aiming it as a high quality urban rider for cruising 👍

    These price tags are insane I remember 2021 you were selling the Daultron Storm for £2000 how is this scooters price justified?

    • @RIDEGLIDE
      @RIDEGLIDE  11 месяцев назад

      Remember those days well although the Storm started at 4K.
      Everything has moved on so much since then including manufacturing costs and shipping.
      These scooters are genuine IP66 rated whereas Dualtrons have/had no water resistance at all. The app functionality ads tons of features but a real improvement is the security. The controllers are more advance for smoother distribution of power and the suspension is hydraulic dampened rather than block design. The pro also has self healing tyres among other things but do take the point that scooters are getting pricey 😅😅

    • @321backlip
      @321backlip 11 месяцев назад

      @@RIDEGLIDEThere's no doubt scooters have gotten better and I understand your business is to sell scooters but for example the second hand market for e scooters is very competitive I picked up a speedway V in the UK for £549 with only 500 miles on it, that has dual motor max 3600w 23.4ah battery. We know here in the UK they don't make it easy for you and that many people who pick up a high powered scooter will more often than not fix thier own scooters as insurance is currently non existent hence why Pure eventually went out of business "retail stores anyway" because people were to hesitant to invest, that and time of the year.
      We need more Emove cruiser like price to performance specs to get more people invested into the scooters long term. 25ah on a £2000+ scooter just isn't really compatible with consumers.

      PS - I love everything about the Pro aside from lack of proper rear suspension (which your video shows is a clear downside) and the open question about climbing capability, so I’m not here to crap on the Pro. I just have some serious hills to deal with around here.

    • @RIDEGLIDE
      @RIDEGLIDE  Год назад

      Being totally honest we just didn't have time to film the hill climb so sorry about that but power wise it feels very similar to the Phantom V3 or Vsett 10+ if that helps. We rode it up loads of hills in the woods and it was fine. We get it back in a couple of days as we leant it out so will try to get down there and time it on the hill! Its not in the same league as the Nami models with acceleration but still very fast. Agree with the suspension but really comfortable on light off-road sections, so many fun features 🙌🙌
