    What a great video! U have a real flow to your delivery. I actually already ordered my Legacy ones yesterday on Reebok’s website for half price but wanted to watch a video to reassure myself that I had done right. Basically you reaffirm that in the last paragraph of your review and now I feel like I made the right choice. Hope to see future content. Really great job, I kinda can’t believe I watched the whole thing actually lol

    18:43 when you say true to size, do you mean in comparison to other weightlifting shoes? I'm planning to get these as a surprise present for a relative, but all I have are his casual and running shoe sizes, which are around 9. Would you suggest going for a 9 as well, or downsizing to 8.5?

    • @fitatmidlife927

      Yes, I have the Nano 9 and Nano X. The feel is very different than the Nano - the Nano is very WIDE especially in the toe area. That said, I wear an 11 in both the Nano and these. I get 0 heel slip in the Legacy Lifter II, or the Legacy Lifter I. Heel slip can be an indvidual thing - it all depends on your foot!

    • @fitatmidlife927
      @fitatmidlife927  4 года назад +1

      I personally don't get heel slip in either. I do go 1/2 size up on the Romaleos - because otherwise toes are too tight. Here's another tip - I like to wear athletic socks that have extra padding in the heel - that can make the difference between a heel feeling loose - or fitting nicely.

    A little help. My heel to toe measurement in inches is about 10.8", which per the chart says I would use a 9.5 US Men, but i've never used 9.5 shoe size, always 10.5-11 depending on how narrow. Can anyone explain this, not sure what I'm misunderstanding. Thanks

    • @CoolColJ
      @CoolColJ 2 года назад +1

      definitely recommend getting a size close to the chart or 1 size up. Otherwise heel slip will too much.
      The shoe feels much better like this. I normally wear size 10-10.5, and tried these in size 9 to 10 and it felt bad, with too much heel slip and the mid foot area poked my foot.
      I then tried a size 8.5 just 1 size up from my foot measurement per the chart and it felt snug in a good way, locked in, and minimal heel slip.
      Could even size down to 8, which is what I should be wearing based on the chart to foot length
      The shoe will only stretch more as it wears in

    Currently have the Legacy I and while I love them to bits, I’m not exactly impressed by the durability of the Velcro. I think this is due to the hook side of the Velcro which doesn’t stick as much as « standard » ones.
    I’m hesitating to get the Legacy II because of the same Velcro. How do the Velcro straps compare to the ones found on the Romaleos 4?

    • @fitatmidlife927
      @fitatmidlife927  4 года назад

      They feel close to the same for me- except the Rom 4 straps are about 1/2 as wide, because there are two. Unfortunately I can't say how well either will hold up over time. The Reebok velcro felt OK to me (but these are new)

    • @etiennela4870
      @etiennela4870 4 года назад

      @@fitatmidlife927 Thanks for your reply. I’ll try the Romaleos and will decide. Something odd I found with the new straps is, on the tightest fit, it only use 50% of the Velcro... And I do have flat feet! I don’t have such issues with my current legacy I’s. That being said, I was surprised how effective the single strap is, and as you rightly mention, I feel no difference in fit between the dual and single straps.

      It's very hard for me to say. The Nike lifters are very "pointy" in the toe area - so you might have to go 1/2 size up for width. The Reeboks (in my experience) are fine as is. I order my normal size for Reebok.
