@@kevinkeith3530 It's not quite as cut and dry as you're making it out to be. With such a tiny arena, the only way the Coyotes were gonna be able to make money was with high ticket prices. The Coyotes had to contribute a certain amount of money to revenue sharing, so that system helped contribute to the ticket prices being what they were at the Mullet. The Biz is the business for me. I haven't been able to watch hockey, especially after what THEY did to Don Cherry. The panels used in hockey during broadcasts lack everything missing from the sport. The chicklets boys represent all that's missing.
As a former Thrasher fan, I understand what the Coyote fans are going through. It sucks! I hope you get another chance at having a team, and bravo Biz! You are a fan favorite because of your honesty passion! The league needs to do more to support franchises in new markets. If you want to grow a garden, you don’t throw plants or seeds in a pot and tell them to figure it out, you have to water, fertilize, and nurture that garden till it produces the results you need.
Bruins fan here, hockey does belong in the desert. It isn't fair that a city loses a team. There are passionate sports fans everywhere, no matter what sport you watch. Hopefully they bring hockey back to Arizona. True sports teams never die
I'm just failing to understand why they didn't? They were in a 5k stadium and couldn't sell it out. Im genuinely curious why, they've always had attendance issues
Good riddance Arizona. Canada and the northern states are where the true hockey fans are. Some of these southern markets sell tickets for 5 bucks and people still don't wanna go. Let's start living in reality
The team was playing well in the first half when they couldn't sell 5k seats, too! And why did they move twice before ending up in that 5k rink if the fans were so great?!
You’re the best Biz! We love you in AZ. I hope you can raise some money and figure out how to bring it back here buddy, nobody is going to let Murelos build anything here
There are more Buffalo Sabres fans living in Phoenix than Coyotes fans and that is not an exaggeration. Im from the Northeast and lived in Phoenix and I can attest with 100% certainty that hockey does not belong in the desert and it never did.
It always sux when a team leaves town. I remember when the Sonics left Seattle and ownership lied about not selling it to an "out of towner". The owner was behind a legislative bill that would have given an extra $90 million in taxpayers monies for an arena remodel spent on parking and consession's whole only adding 600 fan seats. When the bill was voted down the owner got mad and started lying to the city. When I hear Paul speak those feeling come back. Sorry for you Arizona..
I can only imagine being just good enough like paul and living yousr childhood dream and having the team that gambled on u and said ur good enough, now there gone. Sucks. Always felt bad for coyotes. Ownership problems
Team should have been moved a long time ago, in fact never shouldve been there in the first place. Should be another team in the Toronto area or Quebec City. Gary Betman and the owners dont care about actual hockey fans and the place the game originated in.
As a Tampa fan I can’t say I feel y’all’s pain, but what I will say is that this can happen to any franchise and something needs to be done to protect the communities that these clubs represent, it just simply isn’t acceptable in my eyes to dangle the carrot in front of the horse for decades and then just all the team to relocate like you’re moving a franchise store. People make careers off these teams, they make lifetime friends, family, and memories. To just rip that all away because an owner could make a profit is gross and quite frankly should not be allowed to happen. Lastly for the fans saying things like ‘Arizona isn’t a hockey market, or they donut deserve a team they’re fair-weather fans’ that’s all well and good until your stadium is no longer safe, or the owner of the building decides it would be better financially to build condos, or any other number of reasons why a team would be forced to move out as unlikely as it is. The reality is no fan base should have to go through this.

Where exactly did he get "choked up" ?
The Biz is the business for me. I haven't been able to watch hockey, especially after what THEY did to Don Cherry. The panels used in hockey during broadcasts lack everything missing from the sport.
The chicklets boys represent all that's missing.
You may laugh at the fans but think about the people that are losing their jobs
As a former Thrasher fan, I understand what the Coyote fans are going through. It sucks! I hope you get another chance at having a team, and bravo Biz! You are a fan favorite because of your honesty passion! The league needs to do more to support franchises in new markets. If you want to grow a garden, you don’t throw plants or seeds in a pot and tell them to figure it out, you have to water, fertilize, and nurture that garden till it produces the results you need.
I know eh, you get a team , nobody goes or gives a shit cuz you don't like hockey, and they move the team. Just crazy....
What will their new name be? Since they already have the Utah Jizz for ball, maybe do a theme like the State cooking pot being the Dutch oven?
They will be back
Bruins fan here, hockey does belong in the desert. It isn't fair that a city loses a team. There are passionate sports fans everywhere, no matter what sport you watch. Hopefully they bring hockey back to Arizona. True sports teams never die
Lol so untrue. Arizona is the least deserving franchise clearly. Can't get 3k people in a stadium.
@@Nickh4929they absolutely can
I'm just failing to understand why they didn't? They were in a 5k stadium and couldn't sell it out. Im genuinely curious why, they've always had attendance issues
Good riddance Arizona. Canada and the northern states are where the true hockey fans are. Some of these southern markets sell tickets for 5 bucks and people still don't wanna go. Let's start living in reality
The team was playing well in the first half when they couldn't sell 5k seats, too! And why did they move twice before ending up in that 5k rink if the fans were so great?!
the worst part is nobody could see this coming....... oh wait
Ya 25 years late imo
Matthew's wont be playing in Arizona lol
You’re the best Biz! We love you in AZ. I hope you can raise some money and figure out how to bring it back here buddy, nobody is going to let Murelos build anything here
There are more Buffalo Sabres fans living in Phoenix than Coyotes fans and that is not an exaggeration. Im from the Northeast and lived in Phoenix and I can attest with 100% certainty that hockey does not belong in the desert and it never did.
I want Matthews to get a cup or two and come to AZ to open up the new team wow that would get butts in seats.
Thank you for being honest. Hockey does belong in the desert. Hailing from Tucson.
Having gone through this with the Northstars 30 years ago, I understand how jarring this is.
Minnesota is a hockey town tho. Phoenix is not
Sad to see Coyotes go, but Shitnasty is all about getting social media attention
You’re pathetic
bummed here in AZ - hoping we'll have the Coyotes back active within 5 years if we're lucky.... :-/
Stand up fella, nice1 Biz. From the UK> Go 'yotes!!
The fans who hardly ever showed up for the last two decades were not treated well? Oh what a shame
I must have missed where he choked up.
It's definitely not the teams fault it's the owners.I just hope if and when they come back it will be under new ownership.
I’ll keep howling!!! Arizona is the real coyotes & always will be !!!
Sorry AZ people!! Put all your heart into the other three teams now!!
i feel for the phnx fans. they got absolutely wrecked by moronic ownership :(
It always sux when a team leaves town.
Thank God we finally got this team moved out of the desert.
Team should have been moved a long time ago, in fact never shouldve been there in the first place.
Should be another team in the Toronto area or Quebec City. Gary Betman and the owners dont care about actual hockey fans and the place the game originated in.
I'm going to miss the Space Coyote.
Yes, it was like the best of nhl today…
suddenly i dgaf. now it matters and we all care. as a cyotoes fan, dgaf
Couldn’t have said it better, hockey will be back in the desert, and it needs to be new ownership
But Gary said Zona was doing great
