Considering that Glendale is a small plane trip away from places like downtown Phoenix and Scottsdale, the crowd was overperforming against some bad odds, having a mediocre team in a non-traditional market doesn't help either. Hockey is working in California, Texas, Carolina and Florida, it can do just fine in the Desert if the ownership respects the fans.

If the fans would have shown up in Glendale, if the corporate support would have been there in Glendale, then the ownership would have had no problems paying their bills. But the fans didn't show up, the corporate support wasn't there, so the money wan't there. That's why they got evicted. C'mon man. Don't go blaming the facility or ownership for crappy local support of the team. That's a cop out on your part. The fan base was never there. They don't care about hockey.
