Although im a stars fan, ill always appreciate the arizona coyotes for what they've done. Yall fans in Arizona deserved so much better and i hope that hockey continues to thrive in arizona. Please keep supporting this beautiful game for everything it brings at any level.
No they don’t, look at their attendance average in each of the years they were here. You realize that they lost 50 million dollars in each of the years they were here right?
@NiechZyjePolska48 you can agree with the reasons for the move and still come to the conclusion that this move is terrible for the fans. Look at 2012 when they made to the wcf, there are fans in Arizona. When you go through this happening to your team, you'll see why relocation hurts fans, no matter where they're from.
From a Ranger fan to ALL of Arizona.. 2 words.. ..PURE CLASS!!🤩🤩🤩 You will FOREVER be missed in the NHL but, as stated, will walk with the League forever!!💜
From a blackhawks fan. Thank you for being part of the NHL. I offer my condolences. Its never good to lose a franchise especially to the diehards. Hopefully one day you be able to have hockey in the desert once again. Thank you for all the games!
And Hartford. I guess before the Salt Lake decision I know Hartford was showing some interest in luring the Arizona franchise. Oh well, I can still dream.
Yeah, when we missed the playoffs for the 13th straight year, and we still had Granato this thought of what Arizona is going through was in my mind. Now with Pegula wanting to sell 25% ownership in the Bills makes you wonder what else is going on in that business mans mind. Sports is sports, but business is business if that playoff drought doesn't get squashed soon. Sabres may have a lot of upside, but that franchise is still walking on egg shells.
My wife is a relative of Shane Doan, as a fan of the Coyotes from up here in Canada thank you for posting this, hopefully we can see the Coyotes again one day.
I am a Flyers fan, but what a tremendous salute to the Coyotes and their fans by Todd Walsh. Every fan deserves a standing ovation for your love and support for each and every year of hockey for this franchise. Hopefully, in the future the NHL finds its way back to AZ.
I can't imagine a city losing a franchise. It is a sad day for sports when a franchise, maybe someday they can have a hockey franchise in Arizona again someday. Thank you, Arizona Coyotes.
I'm a Stars fan and I hate to see any fan base lose their team. You guys have always played us a good game and I will always remember the Coyotes. I hope this isn't the end of hockey in Arizona. You fans deserve better than this. I'm an AHL off ice official and what Mr. Walsh said about hockey is so true. It is about the people, the fans, the hockey community in general is what makes this game the best in the world.
Even though I'm both a Chicago Blackhawks and a Pittsburgh Penguins fan, I wanted to say thank you to the Arizona Coyotes for being a part of the NHL since I was 1 year old, now I'm 28 years old, will be 29 in November! Thank you Arizona Coyotes, good luck with your new future in Utah!
I’m a pens fan…I remember the talks of moving to kansas city. The organization has been so important to the city and its people. I’m so sorry for the fans and the community. You deserved better and I hope you get your team back.
I couldn’t imagine losing the team I cheer for this is heartbreaking I’m with you coyotes fans much love and respect you guys deserved better then this
From the Flames, Loved watching you guys play us and we are gonna miss seeing you up there with the other NHL teams in Drafts and ads. My appreciation and love for you guys, I hope to see you again in a future expansion draft.
As a Hurricanes fan, the one thing that I've always lamented about the franchise was how it came to be. I imagine many Utahns probably will feel the same, regardless of their lack of say in the matter. You didn't deserve this, AZ; the pursuit of Mammon wins once again. My sincere condolences.
Sending love to Arizona from way up north in Ottawa. I can't imagine losing my Senators, even though they suck. Hard times for hockey fans way down south.
I'm a Seahawks football fan and have been since 1976. This came very VERY near to happening with us in 90s. And, of course, the Sonics left town as well. My regrets and condolences to the 'Yotes faithful. I hope something can be done for you.
From a Ranger fan for decades, it is a shame the Coyotes/fans won't have NHL hockey 2024-2025. At the very least may there be a perfect NHL arena built somewhere in Arizona in the coming years that can bring hockey back to the Copper State. Hopefully, there can be an ownership group with deep pockets and a marketing team that can sell enough season tickets long term to permanently plant the puck in Arizona forever. Nothing but 1,000,000 percent respect to the fans that have been loyal from day 1. Be well and safe.
This is what people who say "Why should we pay for XYZ for a sport team? If they leave then let them go!" Its emotions and connections like this from team to the fans to the community, it makes a ton of memories for everyone that they'll cherish forever and why its so gut-wrenching when you hear about a team leaving their city for whatever reason I hope Phoenix you guys get a new NHL team one day
from kings/ducks country, and one of my closest next door neighbors from a few hours away, this hurts. I feel for you guys and I am a casual fan. it just won’t feel right. yes, I’ll see the DBacks, the suns, the devils, but there’s gonna be a huge hole to feel without these guys running hockey.
As someone who lost his nfl team and my mlb team is pretty out the door I’m sorry you coyotes fans have to deal with this. It’s heartbreaking to see any a city lose their teams. As a sharks fan I wish I could have caught a game in Arizona
Bruins fan here, so sorry for the fans of the coyotes. I hope one day soon you will have a new version of the team to cheer for. But please let it be with a new ownership group.
I would like to thank all the other teams fans for their love. I hate losing my team but will keep rooting for them in Utah. This Coyotes owner doesn’t deserve a thing from us fans
Fitting the final montage contained a clip with the Atlanta Thrashers, whose fans understand your current pain and upcoming feeling of bitterness and emptiness.
If your good to the game, The game will be good to you. Win today and we walk together forever. Very well said quotes Mr. Todd Smith which I believe some day in the near future when there will be another Arizona team gets selected as a future NHL expansion team, let's just say "When one door closes, Another door opens." I believe the quote you said about being good to the game reminds me of what Caitlin Clark does on the court and many critical people including former or current professional women players are allowing her to be something that she's not and all she's doing is being considerate humble of the game setting a great example of herself and the community, Why l said that is how the Arizona Coyotes team are. Is wasn't about style points, money, endorsement deals, Is all about the love of the game. This team will be missed but not forgotten, This is a see you later down the road. God Bless this team and Arizona Coyotes fans will miss you.

Goodspeed Arizona and Phoenix Coyotes.
A born Utahn. Haven’t lived there for almost 2 decades. Still consider it home. This is the shittiest way to get a team in SLC. I feel for the Yotes fans. Can’t imagine what they’re dealing with. Y’all will be back asap.
I feel for the coyotes fans, I truly do. That franchise whether it came to ownership, a place to play, or the product on the ice, was not as stable as it should have been. I think that if things over the past 28 years had been different maybe the coyotes would have never had to leave.
This reminds me of when the Whalers left when I was still living in Connecticut. People to this day still haven't recovered when they went to Carolina. It hits people hard.
Shane Doan needs to assemble an ownership group and buy the defunct franchise and resurrect (PHX style) above and beyond that previous owners have attempted to do.
Feeling for all of those in Arizona who love the Coyotes. Been a Stars fan for 25 years. I feel for what the North Stars fans went through when the team left for Dallas, and after all these years of watching the Dallas Stars, my heart would hurt so deeply if they left. Seeing the tears from fans at the Coyotes last game hit deep. Lifting a glass to each of you and to the Coyotes. Here’s hoping to hearing the howl again someday. 🍻🫶🏼🏒
This is so sad to see, but it's again a reminder to fans that sports is a business, and this will always happen. People never think they'll lose their team to relocation, but it can happen anytime and anywhere. Ownership changes, do we stay or do we go. It's the owners decision, no one elses. Spanos did it with the San Diego Chargers, look at the Raiders in Vegas.Look at the history of NHL teams that went to other cities. Good franchises, not just struggling franchises. I lived in Hartford when the Whalers went to Carolina. People to this day there still haven't recovered from that move, it was heartbreaking. Atlanta had 2 NHL franchises in history, and now both gone. I feel bad for Todd, but he'll bounce back. A huge part of his life has been torn away, though it pales in comparison to losing a mother or father, but it still stings. Be happy what you had in the past, because nothing is guaranteed in the future.
Sabres fans better watch this if the playoff drought goes to 14 next year. Terry already is offering 25% of the Bills for sale. Man is getting antsy right now if the Sabres don't shape up soon.
I feel bad for the fans, all 6 of you, but let’s be serious. The NHL going from Manitoba to Arizona because it “didn’t work” in Winnipeg and then staying in the desert for almost 30 years despite losing money almost the entire time it was there, for whatever reason (it didn’t seem to matter why the original Jets, who I was never a fan of, lost money) makes a laughingstock of the league. The Jets never had to literally be bought out by the league. The fans may not be at fault, but neither were Jets fans in 1996. The moment things started going south with the Canadian dollar in the 90s, the Jets were gone. No one fought for them. The Coyotes are a different story. The NHL fought for them even though from the beginning it wasn’t working. The arena wasn’t even accommodating to fans - from the beginning. None of this is a knock on long suffering Coyotes fans, who probably discovered hockey in the 90s and just wanted to see their team succeed. I feel bad for them. But the NHL screwed Winnipeg in 1996 and they’ve been screwing Coyotes’ fans for 28 years. I’m not convinced it can ever work there because they had almost 30 years and still couldn’t do it. Many franchises, including the Thrashers and others, haven’t had that leeway. No fault of the fans. But if you can’t get ownership to do fulfill their obligations, they don’t belong. They should have been gone in the 2000s and maybe Arizona would have a stable franchise at this point. They beat a dead horse for years. Hopefully Utah does better. I’m tired of the rest of the league bailing out failing franchises. Either get it together or move. They would have lost less money if they’d stayed in Winnipeg and just expanded to Arizona. There are a few franchises that don’t belong. This league is bloated.
This guy is talking to like about only 20 people since that’s about all who ever showed up to youts games all throughout the teams history. The end of a 25 year mistake. Good to know Winnipeg still has its team oh they are in the playoffs too.

You will FOREVER be missed in the NHL but, as stated, will walk with the League forever!!💜
It was very well said. As a Quebec City citizen who lost his Nordiques in 1995, I really feel you Coyotes fans.
From a blackhawks fan. Thank you for being part of the NHL. I offer my condolences. Its never good to lose a franchise especially to the diehards. Hopefully one day you be able to have hockey in the desert once again. Thank you for all the games!
Detroit fan here. Godspeed Coyotes.
From an Oilers fan, it was a privilege yet somber moment to be a part of the final game. Hope hockey in the desert, and in Quebec, returns someday
Don’t count on it.
And Hartford. I guess before the Salt Lake decision I know Hartford was showing some interest in luring the Arizona franchise. Oh well, I can still dream.
I hope the Oilers stay in Canada.
May the Yotes be loved forever. Love from the Wings
Sorry for all the Coyotes fans losing a piece of their home. Sending love from Buffalo

What a sad day for the fans in Arizona. A lovely signoff.. Hope you get a team again, great loyal fans in the desert.
Bruins Fan here it really makes me sad seeing a team move away seeing the fans Cry makes me feel for them. Godspeed Coyotes.
RIP COYOTES. you will be greatly missed
The team is still there . 5 yr waiting period until the new arena is built. Then a expansion draft will take place.

This is so heartbreaking, There are a lot of dedicated coyote fans in Arizona. This one really hurts !
Minnesota fans felt the same way in the 90s. A lot still miss the North Stars.
That's for sure! Tough to see others go through this crap .... Arizona fans, you deserve way better!
That was rough. Walshie was always so nice, even walking around the grandstands.
Thank you so much for sharing this! Coyotes Forever!
Sending love to the yotes fans

As sentimental as this stuff is, a city of several million people can’t even sell out a 5000 seat arena. It was very inevitable
