- A personal tribute to The Twilight Zone. It's an amalgamation of my favorite intro segments with a classic Rod Serling monologue (although missing the well-known theme).
Created with After Effects CS5 and 3ds Max 2010.

I prefer Hitchcock Hour because it was basically Twilight Zone with the burden of staying within everyday movements.

I've always loved The Twilight Zone!
There is a 5th dimension beyond that which is known to man
It is a dimension as vast as space and is timeless as infinity it is the middle ground between light and shadow
Between science and superstition and it lies between the pit of mans fear and summit of its knowledge this is a dimension of imagination
It is an area we call the twilight zone
You forgot (the) and (his). It goes, the summit of his knowledge. It took me about an hour to remember this by heart.
Wuhan China... just an ordinary location. A thriving community with many friendly citizens. But an angry and vindictive leader.. The world is about to contend with an unheard of string of circumstances... something so stressful, miserable, and depressing... it could only originate, in the twilight zone..

Since March 2020, everyday has become an episode of the Twilight Zone. Honestly, Rod predicted this and it's all coming true.

And I'm glad we have this reference of Rod Serling in the Netflix show: A Series of Unfortunate Events.

You know you're old when young people are only just now discovering TV shows that were reruns the 1st time you saw them.

For the past 2 years it has felt like we were in the twilight zone ngl
Serling was a superb writer and he did it all under the pressure of the studio clock.
Much like those songwriters in the Brill Building, churning out classics like it was a box of soap powder on the production line.
His writing on the first two seasons of the Twilight Zone were impeccable.
Yes his writing was amazing, way ahead of his time.
Intelligent, provocative, fascinating, and just fun. Why with 100 internet channels I today have nothing comparable ? Nothing ?

Not sure about this, but I think this theme was the original theme before they went to the guitar and horns (the classic intro everyone knows). In any case, you will not find a show of better quality these days. Thank you for the post.

This describes what the whole world is going through today, March 14 2020!
I came here from a video from my online school that had a teleplay, "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street," by Rod Serling, and the lady did a video that had the words to this intro. I came here to see how he really did it.
Rods' speech in the intro is an indirect reference to the 'The witching hour'.
