Welcome back Tomb Raiders! I'm so happy to present you guys my take on Lara Croft. This is a mixture of mostly her classic look with a hint of the reboot elements. I'm such a huge Tomb Raider fan that I will play whatever game she's in, but the reboot seems like a stranger to me, and it's so hard to find hints of Lara in her. Maybe in the future they will develop her to be more like her older self. I need my fierce hero back! :D But yeah, I hope you guys like her and if you wanna know more about Lara, I have links below of story summary as to why she is hardcore!

Well! In defense of Mattel: They did make that wonderful Wonder Woman face mold back in 2016 for custom work! 😂🤗 There are different face molds with Fashionista designs for customs! I'm impressed with Fashionista numbers higher up as they try interesting face molds now! 😉
Lara Croft was always one of my main inspirations (i mean, she's confident, intelligent and so brave) and childhood heroines. I sm happy to see I am not the only one
The level of effort and detail you put into the clothing and accessories really set you apart from other custom doll painters. Talk about multi talented!

Omg, my inner child is screaming! As a kid I was obsessed with Lara. And I always tried to look for Barbie dolls that looked like her. Made my own holsters and all the accessories she had. Cut up jeans. Colored boots with a marker. We had great adventures. So much good memories. Wish I had a doll like this when I was a kid. (Still kinda do, so we could invade those tombs again😉)

Oh my gosh, I love your style too much, and this version of Lara Croft gives me chill because is like she came out of the game itself and posing right in front of us.
Also, I really love you lips style. Realism 101, but all of this doll features are amazingly real.

Wow! My favorite part is the accessories repaint! Totally brought the character to life with all of her cool weapons and tools! I am actually a huge fan of the new games! Idk I really like the voice actress for her and I can see how Laura becomes a confident woman through the experiences and adventures she goes through when she’s younger. I haven’t seen the new movie yet, I’ve heard there’s been mixed reviews! But great job! She must of been fun to repaint!❤️❤️
You should make Alicia’s head sculpt to make a doll of her character in The Seventh Son!! Her character is GORGEOUS!!

One more thing I absolutely love how you end your videos and how you give each doll a little story of their own usually including another doll you have done; this was perfect and it was like a little movie. This is one of the many things that sets you aside from all the other people who do doll repaints! I just want to say thank you for keeping what was loved about the old Laura Croft alive. The new one is ok but I miss the sexy confident woman I played as as a child. I will admit I was afraid to click this but seeing how much you took from the classic was a massive relief :)

I'm a guy and I have nothing but respect for Lara, the Disney Princesses and Barbie. Also the entire female cast of Resident Evil - which makes me want to point out that Hextian needs to do an Ada Wong custom STAT.

I understood your comment, I don't judge you.
You found a role model who's courageous and strong, noble, heroic and intelligent. She might not be the orthodox role model for young girls, but she was the right role model for you and every character I rattled off is in their own way worth being looked up to.
I think drawing attention to the fact that Lara was your role model and then hiding behind "Don't judge me" is the thing that I took issue with. To me it's like you failed to internalise the most important aspect of Lara, which is not to care what others think.
The dry-brushing and "dirtying" of all of the parts really sold the realism. The doll and all of her accessories turned out so great! I love your dolls, videos, style and personality. I cannot stop watching your channel. I forever need more Hextian doll customization videos! 🖤

I just love how you incorporated the old and the newer parts of Tomb Raider Watching this made me want to go back and have a gaming marathon all over again!
I'm a crying, wailing mess.
My childhood. This was my childhood.
The soundtrack at the end broke me. It broke me. The freaking dam broke.
I'm truly crying.
So much nostalgia. So many memories.
I played Legend and Underworld religiously as a child. I remember every scene, every dialect.
Every soundtrack. I wanted to be like Lara. She made me want to become an archeologist.
And the soundtrack triggered me so bad.
THAT WAS MY CHILDHOOD. When I was a CHILD. When I was happy. When I thought nothing was wrong. When I didn't know the grime that is this world. When thatgrime left me untouched and I wasn't tainted. When my family was alive.
WHEN I WAS ALIVE.
The child I never can be again. I miss me.
I forgot how much I missed me.
I'll just take time to weep now.

This face up is incredible! Very well done! Slightly disappointed you didn't give her her signature double the plaid but I guess there was probably just too much hair there to make it look right. Well done though, your dry brushing is admirable.
Sidenote, who are these oversensitive people who have a problem with "doll nudity" it's literally plastic. Slightly protruding plastic. Grow the he'll up.

She is GORGEOUS. I really like Tomb Raider as well, and I think the reboot is really interesting. It shows Lara as a scared baby adventurer; I'm sure in her other games she'll just get more and more badass! Even Lara Croft had to learn to a fierce hero :D

Suzanne MacMillan my dad and i did the same thing! Every time the eidos logo would play no matter where i was in the house i came RUNNING. I was his eyes for items he missed so many amazing memories. ❤

Lara Croft was also my childhood, I remember playing all of the games but my favourite portrayal was in the Legend, Underworld and Anniversary games, such as yourself. I feel the spirit of Lara Croft emanating from this doll, love it. Keep up the great work.

Awee thank you so much :) yes they keep wanting to reintroduce characters and make them current or add weak origins but thats not why we liked them. I just didnt like how weak they portray her now. I wouldve liked it if she didnt have all the “skills” but still have the attitude.

HeXtian it’s what shapes Lara! I am disappointed in the movie’s doll as it doesn’t even feature any proper weaponry she uses. I want to get a tattoo in a similar fashion to this with bringing all of the different versions of her together into the one, much like your version of the doll. So very well done! :)
