i hate to be that guy, but please please please if you’re going to be using a dremel and cutting plastic, please wear safety glasses. i used to customize my own dolls and had to go to urgent care for getting a small piece of doll plastic trapped under my eyelid. wearing proper protective gear not only keeps you safe, it models safe behavior for other artists!
I respect that some things didn’t go the way you wanted, but watching you pivot and troubleshoot made for a great video and the end result is stunning.

My gosh that was a trial! I’m so glad you persevered, the finished doll looks spectacular! The face up is perfect. I’d highly recommend getting a mini bench vice that can clamp to your workbench. They are the best way to avoid hand cramps and slipping. If you add wooden strips inside the clamping surfaces, they won’t mark the plastic.

I've used slick fabric paint in the same colour as the hair to fix/strengthen splits in vinyl doll heads. Since it dries flexible and adheres decently well, it can still hold up to an average reroot.
Totally agree: Legend was my favourite, although I like every other game as well. It was the first game on the complete series that truly hit me with the emotional music. Still listen to it to this day. You did an absolute fabulous job with this doll and I learned so much from you. I love how you show us your mistakes too.

She is wonderful!! I was never a gamer myself, but I watched my dad playing classic Tomb Raiders. I helped him with puzzles and we really played all games this way until 2013 reboot (we did not like dark and more "realistic" tone). My favourite is probably Anniversary, but I also love Tomb Raider IV (EGYPT!) and II, because it was the first one we played. I also drew comics where Lara appeared as guest character. I'm thinking about buying my dad remastered version as Christmas gift this year, but he was not really playing any video games for 10+ years...
Your remastered version of Lara Croft looks exquisite, the dress, the gloves, the shoes, love it all. If your gonna saw some doll part make sure you be extra careful. The game choices I am more of Lara Croft terminator not so much, if you had another gown like that & kept the long back skirt for another doll like Nightmare Moon, Rupaul drag racer wearing all blacks, Princess Luna, Persephone, who know's.
