BMW E60/E61 State Inspection warning reset (no special tools needed)

  • I found that on the 2008 BMW E61 (535xi) the State Inspection resets a little bit differently than on my other cars. It is probably the easiest reset you can do.
    No scanners, no special software or tools are needed!

      I'm surprised that BMW changed that to more harder way in 2009 models.

      @maik4078 For cars made 2009-2010 you need to do it through the instrument cluster or smartphone app like Carly.
      I can do short how to do it via cluster but it will be next week, too busy with work.

      @maik4078 I just don't remember where it is located in Carly, for service resets you need a paid version, I think 🤔
