In my opinion, California Adventure was at it's best after the 1.1 billion dollar expansion from 2007 to 2012 concluded. I think they should've kept it as it was rather than make these unnecessary changes such as the Paradise Pier to Pixar Pier transformation. I confess that I like the addition of Avengers Campus, but without that big E-Ticket addition, it kind of looks like an incomplete eyesore.
Thanks for another great detailed update!! It really helps us Disneyland fans that don’t get to go all the time. I had no idea that The WonderGround Gallery is no longer there! 😩 We LOVED that place!! Hope they bring it back! Thanks for all you do! 👍🏼
I had walked away but was still listening when you started doing the Pixar Fest merch search and was thinking "Wow - lot of merch for Pixar Fest!" I then returned and laughed so hard at the visual. 🤣🤣🤣Thanks for the lols today, Dylan!
The only area not set in CA is Cars Land, but that’s themed to the road to CA, so it kinda works if you squint. If Pandora get placed in DCA then the California theme will be abandoned. I think they should follow the Tokyo DisneySea naming convention and rename the park California Disney Adventure.
i can’t wait to buy my sparkly pink minnie pixar fest crocs to match my sherbet pixar fest spirit jersey to enjoy with my ice cream (pixar fest flavored)
I love how you list the merch prices. Thank you for an amazing and very informative vid. I look forward to all of the DTD changes. I can’t wait to try the New Mexican restaurant….margaritas on you ! …. Did you say Sticky and Friends Parking structure?….lol
Love the video and want some tips on starting a vlog channel for me and Michael are thinking of moving to Florida just us together someday and want to meet you some day at Disney land in June
Do you feel Pixar Fest will bring more crowds than typical? Lovely vid. Love your perspective and the beginning jazz moment….such beautiful music… wish was written in these modern days.
Tell your partner in crime that I’ve missed him being in your last couple of vlogs because he has interesting observations also, when it comes to Disney. Does he have a Vlog channel himself?
Why does Downtown Disney need another Gideon's? It's about to receive a Portos, which sells both sweet and savory pastries. And the area already has Beignets Express. Everything doesn't have to be the same on both coasts. Disneyland doesn't need everything WDW has and vice-versa.
I'm ok with Tortilla Jo's closing, never really cared for that place, as one from California I'd rather go to a taqueira over the food they served which seemed kind of meh to me.
Might sound extreme but Disney is removing the atmosphere. That’s half the reason to go. Nothing “fun “ or “magical “ about the industrial (lower your expectations) look and feel of the new Disney properties.
"California Adventure" was inspired by former Disney CEO Michael Eisner's misguided (for a theme park) fondness for "California." So if the park's name is finally changed, that will be long overdue. Even better, if the park is replaced by the high quality of DisneySea (originally planned for Long Beach but nabbed by Tokyo), that will be the ultimate in a long-needed transformation.
If your partner in crime is Mexican, please tell him to give some observations from a Mexican point of you because there aren’t people doing that and 32% to 35% of crowds that go in to Disneyland art of Mexican origin. Considering that the Mexican population are the majority in this state that the Disney company doesn’t say that they should put in a dark ride for Coco to honor the Mexican heritage in this country. A friend of my son wrote his dissertation on how throughout disneys beginnings, the discriminatory practices that were in place against the these people. I had a friend who at the time was working on her PhD. And wrote her thesis about how the Disney princesses were discriminatory to the Mexican culture, and instead of listening to what she had to say, they wanted to sue her, even though her research was absolutely spot on to discriminatory practices. Furthermore, when Encanto came out, but person assumed that the people represented in the movie we’re just like the Mexican culture. How dare that a Disney executive who was white came down to the same conclusion that all Latin people are the same. All Latin people are not nor are their cultures. If it wasn’t for the Mexicans in this country, Encanto would have not made as much as it did if it wasn’t for the Mexican people bringing their kids to the movie theaters. The characters in Coco a meet and greet or in character in a parade. Please don’t tell me that Disney world is planning to do something with Coco only for it to be rumored that it’s not going to be anything special, when Encanto are getting a major land. Coco could have been included as the land in animal kingdom by bringing a number, a parrot species to be displayed when 10 different species are on the brink of extinction. also to do animals and to show kids what happens when animals pass away, would be beautiful for the kids because of kids truly understand about death. it is we that cause children to fear death.

Keep Pandora away from the West Coast. Let it remain unique to WDW.
Been watching you since 2019. I continue to love your content, especially Disney content!
Awe thanks! Glad you have been a supporter

Very informative! Thx.

Omg the bistro! I didn’t care for the food but dang that unlocked a memory.
I agree that Napoli's Pizza is 🔥 you can never go wrong unless you get a BBQ chicken which they kind of skimp on those toppings.
You pronounced Tiendita correctly! Well done! 👏😊
i can’t wait to buy my sparkly pink minnie pixar fest crocs to match my sherbet pixar fest spirit jersey to enjoy with my ice cream (pixar fest flavored)

Lovely vid. Love your perspective and the beginning jazz moment….such beautiful music… wish was written in these modern days.
Boom goes the dynamite

Disney should transition California Adventure into Pixar Adventure Park. ✨️
I bet your favorite ride at DCA was Superstar Limo!! 🤷🏼♂️😂👌😂
Never was able to ride it lol. That was the one attraction I missed.
@@ThemeParkObsessionDD …….just a joke, a horrible, CREEPY ride they got rid of fast!!! 😂🤷🏼♂️
Thank you for the Update 🙏

Muy buena pronunciación de Tiendita. Good job señor ❤
Where’s Michael?

Simply looking at the business aspect for Gideons. We probably won’t be getting one but it’s always a fun thought
is there any update for porto's bakery its supposed to be open at downtown Disney
Nothing yet from the company. Work is to start very soon though.
Thank you Dylan
Greetings from Israel 🇮🇱 ❤
Hey hey! Thanks for tuning in, glad you enjoyed it.
I wouldn’t want a name change, I’d still probably call it DCA like I still call incredicoaster California screamin’ sometimes
I’d probably still call it DCA too lol
What july and August are hottest months And September October can get hot Santa Ana season can get hot
The summer is moving I think. Like July-October are the hottest now.

Some modern looking things can look nice but yeah there has been a noticeable shift.
