I wonder if Haolonggood is the reason why PNSO suddenly started making smaller figure's in the $30 range again (Megalosaurus, Yangchuanosaurus) I need more Sauropod's and this looks soo nice!
So, based on what I have read, derived titanosaurs did not have spiked thumbs like diplodocids and brachiosaurids. Since Ampelosaurus was a late Cretaceous animal, it would not have had it. I’ve noticed that many recent titanosaur offerings, PNSO’s otherwise spot on Alamosaurus for example, do have this feature. I also remember an exception to that, but can’t remember the taxon. Since as you know most dinosaurs are known from partial if not fragmentary remains, this is speculative based on the few complete forelimbs we do have. Haolongood seems to be current on their research, so this model is based on the best information available when it was made. I’m also a huge fan of true 1:35 scale sauropods, and can’t wait for the soon to be released Alamosaurus that Haolonggood is producing. The prototype photos look absolutely stunning. Fire, even… Keep up the good work!

Titanosaurs didn’t have any claws on their forefeet so that detail is right
Hello! Thank you! I thought that might be the case. I wasn't sure. Thanx for setting me straight.
@@rukkasaurusrex3364 no prob 👍🏻👍🏻
Beautiful figure!
Their size may have been a result of living on islands
