Crazy how such a dull "boring" colour scheme can look so much better than the warm colourful pattern of the stock figure, just goes to show how good a fully painted figure can look compared to straight molded plastic with some basic paint apps.
This is a cool one! This Sauropod is supposed to have a longer tail though, so it would be cool if you sculpted an extension on the tail to make it a little longer and then touch up paint the extension to match the repaint. That would make this even better.
And it can use a water-type attack known as Aqua Vortex a move that can seal an opponent Dinosaur in a swirling vortex of water and spin the opponent like a tornado until the opponent itself is dizzied out and its strength is depleted.
The Ampelosaurus was laying dormit in a water-type card sealed in an egg-shaped capsule under the snow in Moscow, Russia. But when the capsule was knocked into a frozen lake and the Ampelosaurus card was exposed to water, the Ampelosaurus itself awoke and began wreaking havoc.

Hey dude I have a question Have you tried making a Mattel T. rex based off of the novel rex but modified ( like webbed toes and crocodile like scutes ? )
The sculpt was already imposing as is, the aggressive paint job was just too on the nose. Who knew the mellow "traditional" paintjob would work better conveying a real animal.
That's a cool repaint and loved the idea of a Rhino/Elephant inspired colouration on a dinosaur that really works on a sauropod like this figure.
The custom repaint reminds me of the color scheme that the Brontosaurus had in Peter Jackson’s King Kong.

And the Ampelosaurus was colored a light blue skin tone, a baige stomach tone, and the spikes on its back were yellow gold-ish.
