This is hands down the greatest thrash song ever written, it is electric energy. This shit had my grandma fucking head banging and she's old af. Even though Gary rips on his intro solo, Jeff's intro was still way better.
kerry king is a beast..love his playing. lotta people talk shit, but he is very consistent, creative, and very technical. slayer rules. of course i miss jeff, and dave...but holt and bostaph?? awesome musicians, no complaints here.
@@BarekHalfhand gary holt is a hell of a thrash songwriter though. I’m just going to say he’s a better riff writer than Jeff and Kerry combined. Especially on everything from Tempo to Exhibit B. He makes use of his fretboard when writing riffs. Most of Jeff and Kerry’s riffs stay in their comfort zone of E, F, F# and G power chords.
100% better. the war at the Warfield live version is still in my opinion the best Jeff did this song, fuck I miss Jeff playing. Gary is still a badass guitar player and glad he had the balls to step up do his part but Jeff did this song so much better
It’s not that Gary can’t play Hannemans solos, he doesn’t feel like he should. Those are Hannemans solos, not his. This was Hannemans band, he wouldn’t do them justice and he knows he can’t replace Jeff.
Gary is very good player, but this song is the greatest and without original intro solo it doesn't sound the same, Hanneman was such a God in slayer, that when he used to play this was so fucking amazing. Gary should re learn this solo better, the right way!

Yeah but he's dead. He ain't coming no more.

Mike Barrett yep fuckin killed it here for realz man
Spot on
HOLT is wayyy better
I agree that nobody can replace Jeff but if anybody has earned the right to be on that stage it's Gary Holt...

I love Gary and Paul, but it ain't anywhere close, without Jeff and Dave.

Miss Jeff.
Damn a clip from modern Slayer where Paul sounds somewhat passable. I think I can actually hear some double bass here, sloppy as it is
..El verdadero público de SLAYER esta en Chile ...huevón !!!!
Javier Echeverria Chile? we're in worldwide, pal!👍
Superior
Jesus lol......
Slayer porra BR
Porra
of course if Jesus was in a band, he'd choose fucking SLAYER
Nobody plays the intro solo of this song the way Jeff did, I know Gary could do it maybe he just didn’t have the time or desire to learn it
Muito bom
I remember when this was released. What a time that was.
