Driven did a good job on this kit for sure. The stock rearsets on the Ninija 400 definitely limit the amount of lean angle you can use. This is good from street riding as it is pretty comfortable to ride. Once you pick up the pace the extra feel and clearance is a nice upgrade. - Van

With most all aftermarket rearsets there is no provision to reuse the OEM return spring. The rear master cylinder has an internal spring to make sure the brake is fully released that gets the job done so this is not an issue. We do not have a return spring on Max's MotoAmerica Ninja 400 race bike. - Van

To be fair all of the kits are a little different which is why we did all of the videos to help you choose the one that makes the most sense for you. We are currently running Vortex on our MotoAmerica Ninja 400 if that helps. - Van
There are several benefits to installing them on your bike. With aftermarket rearsets the footpegs are typically raised up and pushed back a bit to get the rider in a more athletic position while increasing ground clearance allowing for more lean angle. Most kits have footpegs that are fixed and do not fold up with more grip on the pegs for more solid footing. Also in a crash aftermarket rearsets will typically hold up better. - Brian Van

Does this kit allow the use of the stock Rear brake LINE? I was going to order the yoshimura rearset brackets, until i noticed that you need to also change out the rear line to the abs module.
We have installed Driven and Woodcraft rearsets on the 2018 Ninja 400 with the Spiegler rear brake line on the bike. I did not have any issues with the brake line. Not sure why the Yosh brackets would be a problem. If you need the rear line changed a bit to accommodate the Yosh brackets we can get that done. @@sportbiketrackgear thanks. We still have the OE lines on the bike and the yosh brackets push the entire setup back and up from what it looks like. I think it is too far of a reach for the metal OE line to the abs module. That's all I'm concerned about with the driven rears. If they maintain the same mounting position for the master cylinder relative to where the OE rearsets do. Thanks for the feedback! Front lines are on the list of items to purchase, might have to bite the bullet and do both though. :(
How much more ground clearance does it add? Stock one is a bit low perhaps. The problem is not footpeg but the shift peg, that scapes :s Also holyfuck 400$ for this is insane. Almost 10% of bikes value xd. Yoshimura has somewhat similar product for 170 :s
Max adjustment is 53mm up and about 40 ish mm back from stock. (sorry the footpeg is covering the second number now) As for the price the cost of the bike does not have any real impact on what it takes to develop a pair of rearsets. The good news is you can build this bike for the track and save a ton of money as compared to a 600 etc... - Van

Is there a complication when installing a rearset with the oem exhaust?
I do not believe there is any issue installing these with the OEM exhaust still on the bike. - Van

Is it possible to install the factory abs modules on a none abs ninja 400?
You would need a new wiring harness, wheel speed sensors and a whole bunch of other parts. Totally not worth it IMO. - Van
