- Introduced in 2022, the Ford eTransit is a fully electric take on Ford's flexible commercial van. It's available as a cargo van, cutaway or chassis, with the cargo van available with the low, medium or high roof. Unlike the gas powered version, the eTransit is only available rear wheel drive and doesn't have quite as many upfitting options from the factory.
It features a 68 kWh battery with a maximum range of 202.8 km or 126 miles. In this video you're going to learn the basics of the Ford eTransit van. I cover off exterior and interior features, options and available technology.

Dude I love your videos
Thanks Mike!
Nicely done Steve
Thanks Josip!
Rear doors should be designed to be capable of folding completely back on the body exterior sides.
Full swing would probably save a door from getting smacked by an inattentive driver for sure
Interesting “concept “
Yeah it's a neat idea.. I'm curious how far Ford is going to be able to push the capabilities over the next few years
considering this as a work van but not a fan of so many controls only via the touch screen. i want my climate control to be physical knobs for easy adjustment
You can still get tactile climate in the regular gas Transit with the base screen but it's digital otherwise. You can use the voice command prompt to adjust the climate which takes a bit of time to get used to.. but when you do it's pretty convenient
What is the slot in front of the center cup holder for??
Accessory clip? It's odd because not all Transit models have it
@@CarsWithStevemy van has one and I don’t know what to do with it. LOL!
Ya that range is bad,I mean car is made to be loaded
That's one thing I was a bit surprised with. Obviously there's a nice market that they're targeting but I know a lot of Transit owners that routinely travel 200+km a day and having to find a location and then stop for an hour to charge just wouldn't fly
@@CarsWithSteve exactly!
Is the Damm Van Reliable or not? Jesus the whole video and nothing in regards the Range in real life, cons or dislikes, Etc.
It's a new van so long term reliability isn't known yet which is why it wasn't mentioned. Range in real life is a ridiculous ask. How much weight is inside the vehicle? What are your driving habits like? Do you have the heat/AC running? There are so many variables as to what the actual range will be, based on your individual habits. Which is why the full potential range is mentioned here.
It's an electric cargo van, with good available tech. There's not much to dislike about it outside of some style upgrades that Ford can make
