I have the GWG-2000-1A1JF and it is a absolutely stunningly beautiful watch. I have been a fan of G Shocks for many years and have owned a considerable number of them. This by far is the most expensive G Shock that I have ever owned, but it is so beautiful that I simply had to have it. At first setting it seemed to be quite daunting but after watching the numerous tutorial videos and familiarizing myself with the buttons and their functions it is easy to navigate to accomplish what you want to do. My only issue with the GWG-2000 is that I am a stickler for the exact, precise time and my 2000 will not RC in auto mode. I get the L1 reading inside my dwelling which indicates that the signal will not be received. This is the first watch of any make that I have owned that has had this issue and at the 2000's exorbitant price point totally unforgivable. I have went outside and did a manual receive and the level was 2/3 with success but I should not be required to do a manual receive with such a expensive watch. Casio dropped the ball somewhere along the line.
When you're sleeping put your arm outside the window like you're Mr Tickle lol 😆 I agree its a beautiful watch and yes sometimes our houses block signals . I love it too just wish it did more occasionally ie steps (not that I ever count steps or sunrise sunset given it gets data like Rangeman. Thank you for posting great comment
Excellent! Thank you! I have been waiting on a video that would give an in-depth tutorial on the GWG-2000. I finally got mine(1a5jf) in from Japan. I bought it on October 21st, it got lost in the DHL hub for 3 weeks, and finally received it Tuesday. I am very happy to have it now and am busy learning all the functions, I really needed this, as I am a visual learner. I truly appreciate it. All my other watches have found themselves in sudden retirement. I have a feeling the honeymoon period will be a very long time indeed. Side note: Is that a Fjallraven Anorak? I love Fjallraven, it is all I wear in the Fall and Winter! We might be brothers! Enjoy that Sunshine!
It's one of those country innovation coats quite old and rarely used long ago but tbh for dog walking pretty good and outdoor stuff just not hiking too heavy its double ventile
Glad you enjoyed the video any questions shoot em my way its a great watch you'll definitely love it thank you so much for watching and posting comment. Sadly home now lol I did most video in maldives all the dark bits were first on balcony but then I thought I need sun in video so popped off for bit of reshoot lol time just flew 😅 then home and remembered a few more bits 😅
Thanks for detailed live tutorial! Very useful video. 1 question regarding the indicators: What are "reset" (between 2 abd 3), "start" (between 3 and 4), "over" (between 10 and 11) and "under" (between 7 and 8) ?

My understanding is that with the crown unscrewed, the watch is no longer water resistant; however, I am not sure. Very good question. I hope someone has a definitive answer.
I enjoyed your video. I was disappointed with the gwg2000 model, this model has not changed its specs. However, the case design was well made so I bought one the gray color model.
Thank you. Yes its a shame they didn't add something to it. Step counter or sunrise sunset if radio control can access that.... but only available in some countries.
Love your video Just got my GWG mud master 2000 I cannot get any sounds from it , battery is M , Crown screwed in hourly sig on , key sounds on , if i press alarm test button also no test sound any ideas ?

@@wildaboutwatchesthanks for your reply yes nothing works I found the test function in this RUclips video ruclips.net/video/HQA-V3Z9vuA/видео.html at 1:24:23 in video it shows an alarm test
@MalcolmRobbins ah Mr Rangeman he is good. Yes it works on mine. Its not very loud though in fact I have to concentrate to hear it. Correct go to alarms then long press bottom right. You could place next to phone and set recorder on phone to record then play back up volume. No idea if it'll work lol thanks for watching and reaching out.
Thanks Paul. I made a boo boo and live streamed about camping on this channel by mistake lol and for some reason it didn't save it. I did another on here after but no one around and wasn't sure if it would save it of course it did but I'll not keep it as mostly me explaining to no one my error lol live and learn
There is none lol odd miss by g shock Only tell by second hand skipping seconds to indicate its low. In reality unless its in a draw at home it should be fine 🙂
Hello yes this is my error when you go to TIME long bottom left it does give a letter to indicate level. Only just fond out (despite seeing the letter I never twigged what it was lol ops)

Only works in countries that have the technology. Australia doesn't which is surprising for big country. I only mention Australia as info. I think only a few countries have the technology other than that use manual or I believe an app on phone sends out a signal....

Worth noting - the UK doesn't use GMT in the summer hence why you have London time. Nice watch.

It seems like the modules is identical by features to 5660, which is in ProTrek PWR-6621Y. I wonder if it is actually the same module inside.

Beautiful watch, but i will wait for the updated model to come out. This Friday!
The new model is smaller, the dial is ugly and the bioresin looks cheap. Stick with the GWG-2000.
Is ties you to your phone, and looks like a piece if junk strapped to your wrist
has this watch a vibration alarm, or is it a beep sound?
good day. do underwater watches show depth in meters? it is not very recognizable. Thank you
Good question and don’t know but I’d imagine so although unfortunately these don’t have depth guage at all

Just push and hold the bottom left button about 2 seconds. On the digital display you will see "H", "M" or "L" mean High, Medium and Low battery level
