It's a shame that your content doesn't get more views brother. Almost like the powers that be don't want people to educate the masses on your culture. One love brother, keep up the good work
I know! Right!! sometimes I feel that we or some of us as Black people has become quite contented with having a slice of bread with no butter or cheese or any dressing on it… If you know what I mean!
As a Montgomery native, I appreciate your documentation.
I'm from Montgomery and this is mainstream telling of the bus boycott. the true story is much darker.
You’re amazing for this! I thought I knew the story and realized that I hadn’t even scratched the surface. We owe these people a debt that we as a black people and on a larger scale a nation are severely delinquent on. Imagine if they would have chosen to stay the course and think about themselves. These are true Americans!
The civil rights era, was the last time blacks came together in like mind for a common purpose and cause 😮
Interesting that Rosa Parks bus incident made history and will remain in history and always talked about but there's much worse cases that happen everyday on these buses but you won't even hear about it
There was one before her and probably others
@@kingmaafa120 Multiples before her.
This wasn’t even the first bus boycott. We need to treat everything we’ve fought for with the same level of importance. Not following in their footsteps always trying to make certain people and situations more important than others.
Thanks for another informative video, Man!
Great timing😂😂
This is so fitting giving what happened this weekend. Montgomery been had the spirit!
We're owed lineage base Reparations and a Antiblack hate crime bill for all the atrocities afflicted upon us and continued inhumane treatment of us descendants of slaves. No Reparations & Antiblack hate crime bill no vote.United we stand divided we fall.
Thanks for sharing this vital information.🙏
AGREE... IF the LEADERS didn't take MONEY IT could have HAPPENED....
Find a better narrator, one who will read a little slower/not in a rush to get it over with 😡 this was a very important part of black history and yet, the narrator appeared to just want to read the dialogue as quickly as he could and get back to whatever he was doing before he was disturbed with having to do this.😢 Bye
We have to be "Steadfast and Unmovable".
Great video
See. I love Malcom. But absolutely not. Grab that iron, the lord sent it down to us for a reason.
I love your videos and delivery, watching all as they come up in my RUclips feed, but the subtitles seriously undercut your message - they are inaccurate and have frequent distracting malapropisms (eg. "plankton", instead of the spoken "plaintiff")
NOT COMPLETELY CORRECT, DR. KING DID NOT HEAD THE BUS BOYCOTT UNTIL AFTER IT HAD STARTED FOR 7 DAYS. HE DECLINED AND WENT TO HIS FATHER FOR SUPPORT. WITH THE SUPPORT OF HIS FATHER, HE TOOK THE LEAD AFTER THE BOYCOTT WAS WELL ON THE WAY!! TRUTH TELLING FROM AN EYE WITNESS, WHO LIVED THIS HISTORY. DRJVP
The response to the court case verdict was depressing; Montgomery promptly stopped almost all bus lines (only two exist today), built two interstate highways right through the heart of Montgomery mostly through black neighborhoods (although the Fitzgerald's house was notably demolished), and built white-only suburbs. The very high tax rate of Montgomery then went to subsidize the very low tax rate of the suburbs. Today, Montgomery is more than 80% black, with gigantic parking lots.
❤😮❤ A MASTERPIECE IN GREAT REPORTING VIDEO SHARED 🎉 VIDEO SHARED 👍
Excellent photos and great coverage!! Those pictures are so evocative of the times that it takes you right back to 1955. Chilling.
They did not need her to get arrested in order to challenge segregation laws. And they're not telling the full story
Ummm where you get your info
Ms. Claudette Colvin was actually the first woman of the bus boycott before Rosa Parks.🌹👏🖤🤎✊
