Hi, this is one of the few videos featuring the Jamstik not for advertising purpose.. I hope you can help me with some question I have. I didn't find literally any videos featuring people using this to play a real song. A couple of video showing fully arranged songs where you couldn't really understand where is jamstik and where not and how much its sound was manually enhanced. Then, is the tutorial reaching advanced techniques (after open chords and strumming, to recognize single note as you're doing). Does it feels a (at least a little) as a real guitar or is completely another world? Last but not least at all.. Do you think this tool is useful for somebody who is composing music? I would use it instead of a real guitar on Cubase because I'm not a guitarist and it would be useful to correct midi notes after I played). Thank you for your help! :)
Hey nnsense, thanks for the moment and questions. I do think this instrument can play roles in composition. I mainly like it as a practice tool and as a means (through midi) to sample other instruments into my mix. Things like piano, synth and orchestra. It's not a guitar for sure but I find it useful...aftera little getting used to.
How does it sound by itself without going through the app, if you were playing it with no electronics and plucking the strings, would it be loud in a quiet setting, say a library?

Is it possible to play with fingers facing down like a keyboard instead of wrapping around the neck from behind? Can this forearm twisting pain?
Ye, but it'll feel uncomfortable and you'll be playing wrong, so.

It sounds plunky and it be annoying to bystanders who can't hear the music through the app.
