INFO FOR THE VIDEO: I have found most of these over the past year, but some are from before (just forgot them). this will be the format for Favorite Logos videos in the future, as it is easier to both make and watch. mainly hanging around America and Western Europe for this one. the two bonus IDs were to prevent copyright, as both of those are not available on RUclips, and probably never will be. the Fox 24 ID wasn't the only one to use that branding (unlike what I thought at first). See here: ruclips.net/video/maBuPRbpaxQ/видео.html (bad reception!) 8:29 - Notice the typo (experince). a few of these have been trimmed down, they are...quite long. I hope there are no duplicates from past videos, but judging by the comments there don't seem to be any.
youtube. they were on youtube at some point or another, and that's how I originally found them. the france 2 one was found on dailymotion and RKB was found on some japanese website or something
Sad how the Japanese are getting all copyright-mad now. Another one that used to be on RUclips and isn't now, that I'd love to see again, is the HBC black-and-white sign-on and sign-off from the 60's. The sign-on had a cute song and various scenes about how HBC is everywhere, they have an airplane and a snowmobile, etc. The sign-off had warnings to turn off the gas and electricity before going to bed to prevent a fire.
Here's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment: During the second Ten ident at around 8:29, the word "experience" is misspelled as "experince". The word appears multiple times in its' correct spelling, so it seems a bit odd that they'd keep a misspelled instance in there (maybe so the people viewing this ident at regular speed wouldn't notice; after all, it's a good thing it only appears for only 5 or so frames). This compilation series is amazing. Solid work, No.
This brought me a shock in how impressive the IDs could be than I thought they would (especially for the Netherlands and America!) Also love to see the logos you picked out from my list Heck there's even some that I know that I forgot to put in mine

Great selection once again! KGMB from Hawaii was so beautiful, like it was from a Disney movie. Also 6:21, the German logo turned into the logo from ABC (UK, not USA).
@@JontyMaster it wasn't used until 1994. I speculate they only used that once, but at the very latest it was 1983 since there are logos that are from the early 80s that KWSU used.
Black Text Productions totally looks like something they would use on TV for real these days. And was the TV5 Las Vegas announcer on some kind of drugs? "Hennnnnderson, annnnnnnnnnd Laaaaaaaaaaaaas Vegas!"

6:25 If I'm not mistaken, is not an actual tv channel, but rather the logo/ident to announce the department/company responsible for the commercials on the channel. Please correct me if I'm wrong...
@@NoEntertainment I think it stands for "West-German Advertisement Television"; And I would like to think the "West-German" indicates region, rather than the political/national level, seeing as this ident would only be seen on the regional channels (the third level channels) in the North Rhine Westphalia region. Or thereabouts.
3Sat was meant to be this channel where ZDF (and maybe ARD as well?) from (West) Germany, ORF from Austria, and SRF, the German-language public broadcaster of Switzerland would contribute German-language programming. It's not that European but there definitely is cooperation from 3 European countries. For a time, the East German broadcaster Deutscher Fernsehfunk was also part of it as well in 1990 until the first channel ended broadcasts as part of the Treaty of Reunification.
