Y'know everytime you make a new part, you actually know how to make it seem interesting and surprising with these impressive graphics. That's what I really love about this series. Definitely looking forward to the next part! and that NBN logo finally made it in after 3 years of you using that ident for one of your videos
@ 3:31 -This is the Dominion Television Network of the Canadian Broadcorping Castration. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 @ 5:51 Back when it stood for VIDEO HITS 1. as in MUSIC VIDEOS. @ 6:44 -Wait, WHAT?! A major TV presentation in 3D? Better get my anaglyph 3D glasses ready. This is HUGE! @ 15:38 Oh yeah. That's the good old channel 11 that rivaled WAPA and Telemundo in terms of locally produced programming from the late '80s thorough the very early 2000s. Cool memories right there. And it's coming back with AUTHORITY.
Happy new year No.! The discovery of an actual recording of TVP1's idents which they used from 1985-1987 were quite a treat (and the two idents found looked very pretty too, despite them looking a bit subpar to the custom idents/intros which were being made for (West) German and Swedish TV channels and programs at the time). I think the Polish continuity clip uploaders have been looking for those for years, so it was quite a cause for celebration to finally find them, but there's still one more to find because apparently there were two other variants of the ident you showed here, one of them being the night time variant, and the other one probably being a more simple variant of which a photo exists.
Also that 84-85 Globo New Year ident had all these guitars and keyboards because Brazil was in the peak success of national New Wave, always topping the charts with bands like Blitz and Metrô
really impressed at some of the picks here (namely HBO and the VH1 IDs). lots of good feeling synths here and I like that, good stuff overall great new year present
6:04 This feels so nostalgic for some reason and it for some reason makes me cry because of that nostalgia that I never experienced. Also, the beginning sounds like the 1981 Nickelodeon Silver Ball Music And as always, I enjoy these IDs Also, that’s one nice collection of IDs of Tampa Stations featured here, as I live in the area. Nice 👍 Gaylord also owned WTVT in Tampa for over 3 Decades, but they sold the station a year prior to that ID they made.
I have to say, those logos were made by actually talented people. Most of the logos in this part were either really ahead of their time (FR3), were really well-executed (ATV Peru), or simply had nice music (VH1 1990.)
@@jabukagala France Television’s graphics package has been ahead of their time since the early 90s. They pioneered the minimalist trend for European TV graphics.
The Belgian Canal 21 has some absolutely great music and manages to create nostalgia even though I never grew up in Belgium in the late 1980s. I also like BRT 1 1990s ident
The Soft-Tronik ad (I'm almost certain it's an ad) looked quite out of place on late 80s Polish television honestly. It stood out very strongly from just about everything shown on the two channels at the time it was being broadcast: idents that used plastic models and analog methods, ads for local products which had much lower production value, and occasionally cheap 2D intros made on an Amiga for certain TV programs.

I love Jam because their jingles sound really great!

This jingle's got some sweet beats!
This video was copyright-restricted at first, but it's back not much later! What a miracle!
What was the original logo with the copyrighted music? Was it Epic Music Video?
Yes! Maybe.
Fuji tv is in part 9
Yeah!

Most of these logos I've never seen before, thank you for showing the little-known side of this world.
You and me share a lot of taste in logos! Good find with that Fiji One!

The night variant was found just days later. All that's left is the one from a single DX still
Rede OM was located in my town. Weird and interesting to see it here. Keep up with those videos!

Fiji’s is the best one. Almost reminds me of an early 2000’s Disney intro.
I also love this ident. It's surprising to see something like this in an Oceanian country outside Australia and New Zealand.

You mean the "special delivery from Viacom" thing?
14:31 Weird to think that a majority of the stations featured are either affiliated with CBS or The CW
The TBS high was a bit ahead of time and the fact that everyone knows that Station and not only that station had early HD television and in the 90s
HDTV in Japan in the 90s. What did I expect...
it's probably from the 2010s actually
well, IIRC Japan had HDTV early compared to the rest of the world
9:49 reminds me of the Russian ATV (Авторское телевидение; Avtorskoye Televideniye).

Telewizja Wrocław used the same melody from the first few bars of the theme tune of Rede Globo's New Year 1984-1985 ID on its ident from 1995.
I'm interested in seeing this, do you have a link?

It IS a commercial, but I still consider it a logo because motion graphics.
By the way, most graphics in the ads was used by TVP themselves in the early 90s.
I’m pretty sure that Soft-Tronik is a graphics company.
Sir, It's actually a Soft-Tronik Demonstration Video.
Rare logo from WFTS in 1981, impressive! Way before they became a Fox and later ABC affiliate!

some of these are really good. mainly the wlae-tv and rede om. (the latter became rede cnt in 1993)
Are you sure that is your favorite logo of VPRO? Not sure the stock fanfare from Here is the News!
VPRO popularized it, and also the visuals are what make that particular logo impressive
No., when's Part 9?

Yes. Think it's for Victoria Bitter.

ruclips.net/video/fiO6fh7I8fs/видео.html
What's up with television stations and using Here Is The News in their logos/news intros?
VPRO was the most famous for using it. I think them and a TV station in malta were the only two that ever really used it
Even these fanmade logos and news openers NRT Neon News, News from SchweizTV/TG/TeleSvizzera and TV6 Novosti (WDTV Novosibirsk).

No, just the visuals are inspired from a TV show called "Fantastico", their opening from 1983 had a similar look
