Sometimes I'm so glad I have a camera pointed at things and recording. The wheelie thing, especially in 1080/240, was the exact reason I wanted to upgrade my camera. I feel like I can definitely capture better, more interesting, video now. Thanks for watching and stay cool out there! Have a great weekend.
Such a significant difference in the quality, like hell yeah!!Same gimbal? Landy looking great in that Jungle like terrain!I broke my phone unfortunately as soon as i got to the new place but had some footage to edit, thanks god my friend gave me an iphone 6s which has 60fps on 4k,compared to the redmi xiaomi i had,it was 30 fps more advantage, the colors though was much "better" on my old phone.
At first I realized that my memory card was way too slow. Once I upgraded that and saw what it did for the old camera, I knew i had to take the plunge and get a better way to record video. I've been pretty jealous of all you guys recording with your phones but for me, I can't bring myself to do it that way. I needed a dedicated rig. Also, for this video and the next, I'm using the old gimbal. Since the GoPro9 is larger, I had to upgrade mounts. I happily discovered they are better quality for less money now. LIke $40 less than they used to be! For $90 you can have a fully motorized mount! Basically, I've gone al-in over this truck. It was time. This truck deserved it! Thank you, my friend and I hope you are well half way around the world!🖖😎
Thank you! Thanks for watching. Absolutely, I used 3mm amber LEDs from Amazon. I gave them their own channel so Ch3 still turns everything else off while the rack stays on.
I have a video that I recorded a couple weeks ago when I did the project. I really need to finish it so everyone can see how I did mine. Basically, the clear plastic post of the lenses needs to be trimmed off. The lens then needs to be super glued. The hole is 3mm so the LED just pops right in and stays very well. I drilled two separate holes in the roof next to the rack posts and ran L/R wires in each hole. Super simple and I was glad everything fit perfectly in the light buckets. The key part is trimming that little piece of plastic off the back of the lens and gluing the lens back on.
So I tried to video record my new trx defender in the field , after watching your videos , and …. Hmm.. let’s just say .. please get a movie contract sir
Thank you, I appreciate that you recognize that it's a little more difficult than it looks! I learned a lot by watching Hoon's RC. IMHO, that guy is the undisputed master of scale RC videos. The best move I made was getting a motorized 3 axis gimbal and fabricating a mounting system for all my transmitters. I can just drive along and have the camera be filming right at feet level at all times. The GoPro 9 really helps bring much better resolution to the table. I will say this, though, when I first got started and I still like it a lot, stationary camera angles are really good for creating focus and scenes. A cellphone on an adjustable tripod will go a long way with making videos.
If you hit it hard enough. But, no it does not dent like an aluminum can or anything. It's a diecast alloy like any other heavy diecast truck or car would be. Thanks for your question!
Wow 👏🏿👏🏿 the biggest difference in the camera 🎥 💯💯😎
I feel like it's so much easier to watch now!
@@VermontScaleCustoms super smooth 😎🍿🍿
@@VermontScaleCustoms I still watch the older videos as well. 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Loved it brother, that 3 wheel action and the wheelie hop over the terrain looked so true to scale, great video man keep em coming 👍👍👍👍👍

Thank you! I just got notification that the winch shipped yesterday.
Awesome video. May I check what you used for the roof rack lights

@@VermontScaleCustoms could you share a picture of how they were attached please

Can the body get dents in it?
