Spurs hit with Wemby for sure! Just my opinion, but I don't like the CP3 move. He will help Wemby develop but hurt their draft position next year. They will surpass regular season projections but Paul will be hurt postseason and they will fizzle. He is maybe the most cerebral player ever but his teams NEVER have playoff success.

You're right about the draft position and cp3 is older now so Im curious to see how he holds up this season. They also just got Harrison Barnes so their looking good veteran wise.

@@BrianLawrence-vk3pu The Spurs are more interested in winning than establishing draft position. They're fine with the Atlanta pick being a hit for them and their own pick being late lottery or even out. A good season where Castle, Wemby, Sochan, and others learn how to win is better than a draft shot.
We learned that when the Spurs traded Dillingham. If you don't have a definitive generational talent, drafting too many high draft picks that hit mean significant salary cap issues later. The Spurs want one or two great players and surround them with cheaper veterans or young players on rookie contracts. That's the way to manage the cap and stay out of that second apron.
