Imagine not mentioning Matas at all at 11th who was for the good part a projected 1st before. Bulls had insane steal on 11th and he gets to play for the hometown as well which is great.
Bam is starting to transition into play as PF. Miami needed size & athleticism. Kel'el Ware's ceiling is higher than Knecht. And Miami drafting Larrson at #43 didn't lose much from Knecht slipping to #17. They also still have Herro, so it doesn't make sense to draft Knecht.

Its a great move by the spurs. They acquire more assets. Many says this draft is weak. Getting 1 unprotected pick and top 1 protected swap has great value. Are the spurs use that pick up select rookies? Or are they going to use that to trade stars? It offers flexibility and value. Also think for about the roster spot. Don't just talk based on what happen. Consider everything about the trade.
Rob Dillingham is the biggest loser here. He was saying he wanted to be drafted by the Spurs to play with Wemby, actually got his wish and then got traded mere seconds later. 😭😭😭
Yeah instead of going to a 19 win team he will go to a 50 win team that was in the WCF also going to be mentored by an amazing vet pg. oh yeah they also have 2 all stars and a 4x dpoy
He and Ant will either get along swimmingly and be a formidable duo, or Dillingham won't pan out. He has not shown that he is an elite enough talent to be THE lead guard of an NBA team. ANT is substantially better. It was a weak draft class. Remember how hyped everyone was about Scoot? Scoot is much, much better than Dillingham.
