Can't be more different player. The only similarity both speaks spanish. Gino was Athletic, oriented to scoring, fantastic dribbler and specially at the begining anarchic creative shooting guard. Juan is a classic spanish pure point guard, big, with lack of atleticism is more related with Ricky Rubio (worst defender, a little bit better shoter) or Raül López (worst shooter but much Bigger)
@@titonosfe bro nunez dunks hard like ginobili and he still growing into his body we got ginobili grown man at his prime 25 🤦♂️💯big difference...hopefully they don't stash him and let him grown here in the system not in Europe like manu he been playing against grown men since 14 he solid and ready to go now 💯
@@ericperales4505 I saw games of Juan since he was 17, and one of his problems is the lack of atleticism. Ginobili was a beast in that. if you want an Spanish Ginobili wait to the 2025 draft with Hugo Gonzalez a player that you can compare with. But like i said Gino and Juan can't be more different players the only similarities are they speak spanish and drafted by spurs.
I think Nunez has the it factor. He might not be lighting fast or jump out of the arena. What he has going for him is his Basketball IQ at the age of 18/19. Also his passing game is somewhat like a Manu Ginobilli. Not saying he is going be Manu. But, he has flashes of the passing like Manu. He is young and with the Spurs organization they will have his shooting, his speed and Strength, and Defense improved significantly as time and work is going by in his first couple years. Great video and analysis.
If he gets the chance he will be a solid NBA player for many years ahead. Short of Jose Calderon type. High IQ, amazing passer, extremely good making others better... he doesn't have Calderon legs and speed but he is bigger. Calderon became a reliable shooter in his second year, his first year he was way worst than Juan right now.
Bro looks like shades Tony Parker finishing with manus movement and craftiness and that’s without talking about the insanse passes he makes Spurs got a awesome talent I have no doubt he’ll be tops the league in assists playing with wemby
I have watched a lot on Baylor and was planning to. However, the draft is 3 days away and I want to watch the guys I have not seen any of before I release my big board. I will post something regarding him at some point though
No it just means that if you have great handles and are smart about it you can practically go by anyone on the offensive end regardless how fast you are. Thats the beauty of basketball.
You need to take into account that in the European draft combine running drill they had a wall at the end making complicated for the players to stop...
Fantastic breakdown; thanks for all this detail. Hope we see this guy playing with Wemby sooner rather than later! Spurs fans are in for a treat.
Thanks sm for watching. Really excited to see him develop
Dude he's so underrated it's ridiculous.
I agree this is crazy
thanks for the breakdown, excited to see him develop with the spurs
Excellent analysis. I didn't know what to think of Nunez when my Spurs took him, so this is very helpful.
Full big board video coming soon
🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣
U should make a sum up screen at the end. But really interesting and deep video. I would like to have such type of video in France
Anyone else think he plays just like Manu Ginobili ??
MANU!!!!!
Been calling it and people called me crazy but now that spurs got him they can see it 💯🙄

I LOOOOOVE Juan Nunez
I'm glad the narrator ends up speaking normally instead of that "chills" youtube accent he started out with.
Tequila shot everytime he makes one of those patent insane passes... Nombre, Chut-Up!!!!!
Spurs found new ginobili

Ricky Rubio?
Welcome to the Spurs nuñez
Nice video mate
Looks good. Hopefully he pans out.
as spanish i can say nuñez is the biggest prospect of our country since ricky rubio
that's saying something. Is Juan like steve nash?
@@TheMilitiaGuy no not that level but he can be mike conley a bit least athletic he can be a good back up pg
Thx,@@daniiddy_4716. I believe the Spurs were actually interested in Conley back in the day when he was in his prime.
Well you forget about Hugo Gonzalez and Mario Saint Supery
@@daniiddy_4716 / The need to bring Nunez over NOW so he can learn from CP3 how to play PG.
I really like this kid a lot

Glad spurs draft him
He's the best pick and roll passer in this draft. Wemby gonna benefit a lot.
Wemby and Nunez could be an amazing duo
Steal of the draft ! Just have to be patient and wait a year to bring him over .
05:21 No Diddy 😬
Some of the bad points you said about Nunez will be moot playing with Wemby
Completely agree, being able to funnel his man into the paint where womb protects the rim is huge
Ultimately he is unathletic and white so he will ALWAYS be underrated. Just like Luka, Stockton, and Sheppard.
Don’t forget Nash
Bro looks like shades Tony Parker finishing with manus movement and craftiness and that’s without talking about the insanse passes he makes Spurs got a awesome talent I have no doubt he’ll be tops the league in assists playing with wemby
Dude's gonna pad Wembys blocks number with all the guys that get by him. Hope he can get some minutes one day though. Him and Wemby would be nuts.
So we just found a new Ginobili? Damn Spurs getting good in a few years
I love Juan Nunez' game. He did have a worse combine than Zach Edey, however, I think he is really solid
Will you be doing a video on Baylor Schiereman?
I have watched a lot on Baylor and was planning to. However, the draft is 3 days away and I want to watch the guys I have not seen any of before I release my big board. I will post something regarding him at some point though
So did the Spurs get a good PG of the future?
5:20 ayo??? 👀
Realistically, what do you think is his draft range?
Most mocks have him from late 40s to udfa. I truly believe he is worth a pick though
@@TheRimReview agreed. Let’s draft him 35.
I think he got picked up at 36th but the spurs had the 35th pick but traded 1 down for cash so he definitely would have Ben. The 35th pick
The Ñ is pronounced as gn in gnocchi
COURT VISION GYAT DAMN
🗣🗣🗣🗣
Some call him slow...but I don't see him being stopped by anyone. Maybe everyone is slow?
No it just means that if you have great handles and are smart about it you can practically go by anyone on the offensive end regardless how fast you are.

This kid is gonna learn tons from cp3
They are keeping him in Europe until he is ready.
Spurs gona do Juan like Luis Scola
He is slower than BBQ Rub......
Which would matter if this was a track meet. But its Basketball. Slower players can have as big an impact as the faster ones.
@@sit2go You are correct, Who runs in Basketball?
He reportedly ran 0.1 sec faster than Zach Edey in a running drill at the Combine. He's SLOW. LOL
You need to take into account that in the European draft combine running drill they had a wall at the end making complicated for the players to stop...
G league
Zero zero MacMcClung will be so better with Wemby that this guy 😢
his name is pronounced: who-aan
Puro Spurs!
He is beyond slow
While he is slow, he has done a ton to make up for his lack of speed
Luka is fat and slow too. This isnt a track race. It's basketball
He slow but he can get to the hoop
He plays quicker than he looks because of his change of pace and looks offs. His dribble is smooth and fluid. He looks quicker than Luka though
@@vsant2886 everyone is quicker than luka
He may be good for the NBA, I just don't see it in these clips.
Not and NBA player imo
His passing vision has allowed him to make obscene plays. Very talented guy
He is 100% an NBA player youre a clown
He is 10000% an NBA player
He is going to run My Spurs offense and he will definately be a standout NBA player just watch
He looks like a decent player but nothing special.
