GREAT band! I met Donna (singer on this one) in the New Orleans Tower Records store (remember those? sigh) while browsing CDs during the New Orleans JazzFest in the spring of 2002. Darlin' Aussie accent asking me if Neil Young's, "Rust Never Sleeps", is good? 10 minutes later I'm watching them perform in the store. Completely smitten and blown away still today... FYI & FWIW The guitar player, Josh Cunningham, is a luthier and he builds all of their wooden acoustic instruments.
I just found this video a few months ago. It was the harmonica that blew me away. The vocals are great. There is more stuff on you tube but that video was great.
Awesome, love The Waifs. Such an under-rated band and great muso's in their own right. Check out Fishermans Daughter, London Still, Lighthouse or anything. Make sure you play the live versions so you can see their skills up close 👌👌🙏🙏

Their biggie is "London Still", but "Lighthouse" is another great song of theirs.
